Hi, im still at the beginners island, like the crowd says, and i'm tryin' to figure out how to get better armor.
With my W/E 5, i get some armor with arm: 27 from a trader, but now, i have a E/W 4 and i don't know where i can get better armor...
Can some1 tell me where?
Tnx

Wait to get a better armour to you can afford the best armors in Ascalon (the first city after beginners island)

Go to Ascalon City (post-searing). There are two armorers there: Benoit and Corwen. Corwen crafts level 30 armor for you if you have the right crafting items and enough gold, both of which you should have in sufficient numbers if you stayed in pre-sear Ascalon until level 6 or 7. Otherwise, you'll have to farm for what you need to craft better armor post-sear.
Traders are useful if you happen to have what they're looking for and are short of gold, but I don't count on them and don't bother farming anything to trade with them. Easier just to sell often, raise enough gold and buy what you need.
Yak's Bend is next stop where you can upgrade armor.
Good luck.
What you mean with 'post-searing'??
Cheers
Ruben
The Searing is the event that takes place after you enter the academy, where you engage in your first PvP combat. Once you go through the academy, you'll notice the entire landscape of Ascalon changes from lush green and sky-blue, to a dingy charcoal grey with red, smoke-filled skies. This represents what happens after the Charr have successfully invaded Ascalon while you were away for two years with Rurik trying to engage the Charr to the north of Ascalon.
If you haven't done the "Path to Glory" quest, then you haven't gone through The Searing. Stay in pre-sear Ascalon and do as many quests there as you can until you reach level 6, at least (I stay until level 7 when boredom ultimately drives me out). By level 6 or 7, if you've done enough quests, you should have enough gold to buy a set of level 30 armor in Ascalon City post-sear. The level 30 armor is more expensive, but better than the level 15 armor Benoit crafts for you.
Hope this helps.
