List looks good. Hit pretty much every MMO that shows promise. Although I would have to agree with what others have stated, the "Massive" part is debatable when it comes to World of Warships or even the Division. But all in all a good list.

Originally posted by Anthur Black Desert Nah, after AA I got enough of korean MMOs for the rest of my life. They are just not made for the west.
EQN Aimed at children and super casuals. Shouldn't have EQ in it's name.
H1Z1 Another zombie shooter. Looks 100 % like DayZ, maybe with more players. But I am tired of zombies.
Life is Feudal Indie company. I wish them the best but MMOs are too giant for an indie company. Indie MMO usually stand for innovation including bad quality/service/support, slow updates, bugs. And what I have seen so far matches that oppinion.
Shard Online No clue about that one, have to look it up. But already your short description doesn't sound promising.
Star Citizen Ah, the star ship selling MMO. No thanks. Also this release in little parts is not my cup of tea. But I will follow it's progress which is very funny to do so.
The Division Not an MMO imo, as you said a third person shooter. Played more of them than I remember.
The Repopulation. Another indie not up to what it takes to run an MMO. Sorry, but good luck like always for indies.
Warhammer 40K The setting is not my cup of tea.
World of Warships (Wow ? lol) Not an MMO in my book. Like WoT and all the rest.
So, nothing for me, but I knew that already. There is no MMO at the horizon currently I am hyped for. P.S. Please add "imo" to all.
I'd say a cup of tea is not your cup of tea.
Would of said the same thing but alas you beat me to it. EQN is super casual like my Cat is an astrophysicist.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
Life is Feudal (although it needs a lot more work to move from YO to MMO), the Division and the Repopulation look interesting and have potential, will just need to see if they deliver. I'm hesitant to put H1Z1 on the list, it looks good so far but I too am all Zombied out.
Originally posted by GeezerGamer Every one of those games is a "Wait-and-See" game. And in a couple cases, "wait" means more than 2015.
Ya this is the first year in a long time where I am not excited for a release of a MMO. As an MMOer it saddens me. I also agree I think a few on that list may not come out in 2015.
Albion Online should definitely be on this list. Albion Online has been in development/testing for a while now and is going into their 3rd alpha test in January, which means it will most definitely be releasing in 2015. Albion Online is a f2p,sandbox, cross platform, PvP orientated, player driven economy based mmo. https://albiononline.com

Not made by EA like the last Warhammer MMO, already a big step up IMO and I am sure will have its own outcome.
Lost Ark Online is the only future game I have any real interest in trying. I might explore Black Desert some if I can turn off all the motion sickness inducing camera effects.
I have been waiting for a game like Shards Online since Biowares Neverwinter Nights went out in around 2007. Its going to be another 'build your own world from square one' (if you care to) where you can change everything and even run your own server. So interested I am a $75 Founder Pre-Alpha Tester and if I could have afforded it I would be a $200 Pre-alpha Admin Tester
Crazy times we're living in... "10 MMOs to look forward to" means there are other MMOS that are out there that we aren't looking forward to. Holy baby jeebus that's a lot of MMOs.
The down side of most of those games is the center focus is on PVP,something that has NOT been a favorite of rpg gamers,so why many going in that direction is mind baffling.
Shards and possibly a long shot on Next and Desert, however the more i know about Next and Desert turns me away.Shards seems to be the game with some chance with me so ill have to wait and see.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

PvP is ALWAYS the question that's asked if a game includes it. If you don't have PvP your playerbase will decrease way more than if you didn't have PvE (yes you'll then have an arena game). This is because of the e-sport way of thinking for gamers in general. More gamers who play online want to play against other players (MOBAs, Hearthstones, Halos... ). Devs don't want to separate "MMORPG" gamers from the typical gamers population. You can see this pretty well by how they've introduced their fast travelling system.
Originally posted by parpin why no skyforge?? i have seen the gameplay it looks very good, and they already giving out beta keys so i guess it will come in 2015.

World of Mutually Assured Destruction.

My last one was GW2 got my hope up there going be more to the game, not much change after being 2 years old?.
Going test out the mmo's that are on that list, just not going get my hope up much.
Black Desert will be the best fantasy MMO released for years, maybe a decade.
H1Z1 looks very interesting. A true Zombie MMO and not a mindless PvP gankfest.
EQ:Next I was very hyped about but then I saw the cartoony gfx and the casual gameplay. Not sure anymore
Warhammer 40k I am also wary of due to the massive failure and shutdown of Warhammer Online. This one will probably be another WoW clone.
The rest does not sound very interesting. Either because they are not MMOs, indy games or a very dubious business model (Star Citizen).

LOL Talk about balance in a pvp game! That would have it in spades! Everybody dies!
FFA Nonconsentual Full Loot PvP ...You know you want it!!
