you’re forgiven if your response was, “wait, that zombie game?” Even though the marketing did an terrible job of explaining the RPG side of Dying Light, I’ve spent a few hours with the game and have no reservations: Dying Light has the reanimated heart of a roleplaying game. Purists may not be happy, but if can wrap your head around first-person, zombie smashing, breakneck parkour with a dash of survival, and deep character progression, you have a first-of-its-kind RPG. How often can we say that?

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

that a realy good game and totaly worth the buy, in fact that my favorite game since alot alot alot of time but that curently unplayable for almost everyone if got ''AMD COMPUTER'' OR AMD GRAPHIC CARD because you will get frame drop at like 2-3 frame every 20-30sec so that not playable....
that in the current isue they are working on so it will be fixed soon probably but curently if you got something named AMD in your computer you better wait a litle bit they fix it because you will be unable to play until they do.
will post my computer spec before people say they are bad and im lagging because of that:
16ram G.Skill ripjaw , AMD FX 9590 4.70 ghz cloaked at 5.00 ghz, liquid cooling, window 8.1 64bits, and radeon 290x 4gig graphic card
and im lagging on low setting.... so if you got amd stuft in your computer you better wait until they fix it!!

10 reasons why everyone should play Dying Light.
See this gameplay just puts all the other zombie crap out to shame. I can not get enough of drop kicking zombies in the face and watching their bodies fly off the side of a cliff or building.
totaly agree calling everything rpg curently realy retarded....
you got progresion? THAT A RPG MAN!! you loot item? THAT A RPG MAN!!! the game got a story ? THAT A RPG MAN!!
sorry but cant let pass this one
clone of what game btw ?? because that one of the best zombie game since alot of time... alot of people want it, go read the review and website, almost everyone love this game.
have you realy play this game ?
You must be trolling by this comment you do not own or play it. Its an amazing game for once. Its not your typical zombie trash. we have a lot of them, this is a lot more... So play the game before you bash something that you never played. A lot of people bought it, so your wrong..
So what any game done right can have RPG elements to make it fun. They did it right and glad they did. I hate games with out any RPG in it like this, if it did not have RPG it would of still been fun, but less fun.. ..
I tried it on a AMd 6100 with Radeon 280X with 8 gigs or ram and i had no realy issues with it. Well until I went back into the menu screen. Computer just turned off then :P

Playing it together with a friend with coop its soooo much fun!
I really don't understand the zombie craze at all. It is bad enough when developers recolor existing mobs to make new ones. Zombies are just zombies, how boring is that? Yet every time you turn around there is another zombie game out there.
I just think it is a craze that will soon die out. The industry will be rife with layoffs when it does.
Oh and they are all zombie trash, there is not one original zombie game out there, why even bother reviewing them?.
You are talking about playing a pirated version?
/facepalm.
Having played it, I can say it's a very fun game, but make no mistake, this is NOT a RPG by any far stretch of imagination. I am getting really tired of seeing every game where you can upgrade a weapon or talk to a NPC called RPG, the term has lost any meaning it once held.
I repeat, it's an awesome game, one of the best I've played in the last year, but it's not, by far, anything that can resemble a RPG. Resident Evil series are more of a RPG than Dying Light. Don't be fooled by the way that term is thrown around these days, if you are looking for a RPG, look elsewhere.

Few things,37% of Steam games bought are NEVER played.I am sure this goes beyond Steam as well.
FACT almost every single game to come out over the last 7 or so years has saw all those big purchases leave the game within the first year,so they bought the game on a WHIM.
I cannot comment on the games overall quality because i have not played it but i did watch about a 30 minute playing review ,i think was two IGN players but not positive. What i saw the entire time and the ONLY thing they were doing is the Parkour idea ,just jumping over stuff, basically no other game play at all. Then the one reviewer commentator said that he actually got bored of playing the game within the first week.BTW these two guys gave th egame a positive review but when he said he got bored sort of over shaodows a positive review in my books.
Then immediately after that i watched a Landmark video by the Yogcast team and all i saw was three dudes jumping up and down and on everything.I think by previous threads i saw in the past about jumping in games, people just like to childishly jump up and down for no reason other than to pretend they are 7 years old again.I played FFXI for 10 years, not ONCE did i ever think or care about jumping, point being you need a LOT more to your game than simply Parkour.
The one positive i got watching the review video was they did add a LOT of structures in the game,so the game world is busy with assets which is almost always a good thing.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Dw, you can also turn it off in the bought version.
Love the game, playing it on XB1 - 12/11/12 and I've barely touched the main story!
Lots of time doing side missions and general f'ing around co-op with 1-3 buddies.
Very fun game. Playing it co-op with my brother. IMO the RPG aspects of this (and previously Dead Island) make the games vastly more enjoyable. If it was just a "shooter" without the RPG parts it would be a lot less interesting.
One key element for me is the loot system. Co-op games where you fight over loot are far less enjoyable.
BTW, I have an R9 290 and the game plays smooth as silk. My brother has one of my older AMD cards and has no issues either.
