[Review] Hand of Fate: Defiant Development Deals up Pocket Kings

One part board game, one part collectible card game, and one part computer role playing game, Hand of Fate is a witch’s brew concocted by Australian based developer Defiant Development who tossed all of these ingredients into a cauldron and ended up with a game that is as entertaining as it is addictive. It is also one of the most unique games I have played in a very long time.

I was just watching some videos and streams of this game today. I am very close to purchasing it on my Playstation 4. The game looks well made and as you said seems to have combined multiple game styles in to one engaging title.

Saw the cards, thought MMORPG finally added Online Poker games and was completely wrong. Also you could have mentioned it was single player only and saved me from checking on steam, oh and it's on steam with 562 reviews at 95% positive as of this post.

They must change the name to:  "Manos:  Hands of Fate"

I've been playing it and I must say it is a ton of fun. Strangely immersive for a "card game" and controls well even without a controller. Also, I love the dealer. Whoever wrote his lines/the actor delivering them earned their pay.

Luv the offline play. Saved me from many nights of boredom when my internet went down.

Incredibly fun game. Best 20$ I've spent in awhile on ps4. Get it!

The link doesn't work, keeps leading back to the front page .

I searched around and found a video review,ya it looks ok,they added the live video combat to go with the card play which is more than Blizzard did with their game.

Pretty sad really Blizzard offers up perhaps a lightly better board but not much else and makes millions while this game will struggle because it is not under the Blizzard roof.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

I have been playing this since it came out on EA, its a very neat idea for both a card game and action game put into one. The combat graphics are lacking a little and combat feels a little off at times but overall the experience is very enjoyable and quite challenging.
