Pantheon Wars, Pantheon Wars, and Pantheon Wars. I absolutely LOVE the concept of having 100v100 battles that are split between PVP and PVE. I am apart of Lords of the Dead, a long standing and healthily populated guild and we have our players who like to stick to their niche. It feels like with Skyforge those players that quite can't get into PVP will still be able to play a major role in a PVP battle and everyone is satisfied in teh end.
That on top of the massive customization options and diversity in the classes has me sold on playing this game, I will certainly be there on launch day regardless of whether or not I win this contest.
I absolutely have been aching for this game! I feel that it breaks the mmorpg mold--moving towards a direction of freedom. Freedom of classes (being all classes with one character)! That and the game world isn't your cookie cutter fantasy or sci fi setting!
I'm super exited for Skyforge, because at first I thought I couldn't play it because I cannot afford this game, but now I saw this Giveaway and got my hopes up!
I am super excited to play Skyforge because I have been waiting for a game, that is different. I believe this just could be it! I love the way it looks and I'm ready to get my hands dirty on my journey to be one heck of a sexy Goddess! The fact that I don't have to continuously roll alts to gain experience of other classes is a plus. Add to that the combat system, gorgeous world that was created and the dynamic events? I'm hooked, so hook me up!!! Please!
I'm excited for Skyforge for a couple of reasons. The class system looks to be quite a departure from the standard MMO fare I'm used to; not having levels but still being able to attain greater power through skills and abilities, to still be able to see progression without the ubiquitous XP bar, seems like a wonderful idea.
The God system has me very interested. I think lots of games have struggled with coming up with ways to allow high-level players to help out their lower-level friends and guildmates, yet still retain rewards for both tiers of player, and also provide some sort of challenge for the high-level participants. Actually being able to take on a new form and make such a huge difference in the experience of others should be a welcome reward for achieving God status in this game.
And the graphics look absolutely beautiful. I am hopeful for the size and scope of the explorable areas; from what I have seen, the exploration will be tons of fun.
Oh, and that transforming gun is just superb.

I will be playing skyforge because I want to save the world of Aelion from mass destruction. Skyforge is a very different game than what I am used to, being able to play all nine classes with one character is just astonoshing! Never has an immortal felt so much power in one single body. Also the combat system is very unique than what I'm used to playing; it is more like a hybrid game playing style, not some stale, boring point and click type of game, you actually feel like you are in the battle. Also the game isn't level based. It is run by the ascencion atlas; in which you gain new abilities and power as you progress through the game. The classes in the game have a few that I've never really seen before; like the kinetic class; using control of dual gauntlets to control earth around you, also with electric waves of energy I would just love LOVE to be in control of that power. That is what i just love in this game; things I have never seen before, VARIETY. Don't forget the ultimate point of the journey... to become a GOD
That's what I first thought when I saw the SkyForge logo. To much of my surprise, something so seemingly iconic displayed from a new company. "My"...? I've never heard of that before.
Now my interest is piqued. A new game. A new experience. A new company - to me at least. A potential new home for a hardcore gaming-spectre; lost since the days of POST-Grandexchange Runescape. I've been receiving minimal sustenance in Leauge of Legends..but the RPG elements have long eluded me.
So I went on the prowl. And this caught my fancy. I've been watching SkyForge for a long while...I've been seeing the community grow. My name on their forums is Zen.
I was a top poster for a short while. Then I realized that to sit back and watch in silence is key to survive the long haul which is the wait. The agonizing...tantalizing wait for the doors to be opened. My silence (following rapid activity) and perhaps my relatively long-standing existence in the community paid of. I was selected to their closed beta.
My God.
It was good.
So. Good.
It satiated a legendary hunger. So much so it seemed to eliminate a specific hunger so quaint I was even unaware of its leering existence. I felt a glee playing the game that I hadn't felt since the days of Runescape Classic. Encountering my first goblin outside of Lumbridge castle, in my first game at the tender age of 6. I had entered a new world back then. I remembered the feeling of finishing the tutorial. I could almost smell the fresh air and cotton just yonder. But in SkyForge, I had entered a new universe with so much to explore and could TASTE the adventure.
What truly evoked my awe were the visuals. It wasn't just simple art. It had an artisanal, living purpose. It functioned. It evolved. It breathed. Every particle could be followed from birth to death. Every swing of a monster's axe illustrated complex movement of its ligaments.
The fluidity...the LIFE of the game is what truly enticed me and enthralled much unlike any other game as of yet. This was despite the numerous FPS issues I encountered.
The pantheon of SkyForge comprises of the player.
The growth from nothing to a God. This is such a cliche in the MMORPG industry, but somehow SkyForge seamlessly implements it within its core lore and in doing such - you embark on a true journey; emotionally invested to the highs, to the throes and inevitable lows that marks the adventure that IS becoming a God.
SkyForge is a new chapter in my gaming life. Maybe THE chapter.
And instead of just observing the ink spontaneously find itself on the lines, I am writing it. I have been a participant.
A pre-emptive contributor. A silent watcher. An avid listener.
Excitation for SkyForge is an understatement.
It's...passion.

the reason im most excited for skyforge is the robust class system i love being able to do everything on one character. but after what intrigues me the most secondly is the lobby system i wonder how it will really work.

What are your other Hobbies?
Gaming is Dirt Cheap compared to this...
One - I get to play as a GOD
Two - I can switch classes at will, which is great
Three - The mixture between Sci-Fi and Fantasy setting ...
...
Four - Unique approach to the MMORPG genre
