I've played many MMOs, and other games, but nothing seemed to interest me, or for very long. I started to get tired of seeing every game similar to the last, with very few things that made them unique, or over complex systems/mechanics that just were not needed.
I'm sure Skyforge will have things I wont be too thrilled about, I already saw the huge list of character stats, and primary attributes, but from what I've seen in videos, and streams, it seems to be a game that really is starting to think outside of the box, hate it's box, and makes a new box, when it comes to MMORPGs.
Sadly, I spent what money I had saved up for Skyforge's frounder packs on other things, thinking CBT wont be out anytime soon....but of course, here it is, coming next week. Very reasonably priced founder packs too.
I'm looking forward to it, for the simple facts that it manages to wrap two of the things that always plague me together: a cure for ALTitis, and a means to appease completionists. Being able to play any class from one character removes the 'need' to make multiple characters to try out different options, which is a lovely time saver. Since stats and the like carry over anyway, it is also great for switching on the fly for particular roles, even if you aren't a 'master' of that class yet, leading to less downtime waiting around for such roles to appear. As far as the second point goes...well, if I see a big ol board of nodes, I want to fill them in. All of them. Completely. And collect all of something that can be collected.
Last chance. I want it cause I want and I want it cause it looks good it looks good cause its pretty its pretty cause the animation is good the animation is good cause Allods knows how to do that Obisdian is there so it will be a good rpg it will be free which is cool and stuff.
I am super excited for Skyforge becouse everything about the game feels so great-world,character models, flyid combat, great story and last and the most important,Obsidian are also involved in this game and they are my favorite game devs.
I am excited for Skyforge because it is the only MMO that has captured my interest in a long time. With the multiple classes for one character and with it being more action based along with how great it looks, makes me really want the game. My first MMO was Everquest and there are things I still miss from that game that was unique, like having a day and night cycle where undead and stuff came out at night or having to take a ship without a map showing fast travel. Yes, I liked the ship traveling. It gave more of community feeling to it. I remember chatting with people as we sailed on the ship. Or when you would want to fight on and island and had to swim to it or swim back to a dock to get on the ship. Felt more real and immersive than a quick travel map popping up.
Then I went to World of Warcraft and played there for a few years, though it never fully had the same community feel to it and by the end, it made me want to avoid grouping with people I didn't know because you would run in to so many jerks and trolls. After I quit WoW, I would try a few MMO games but most just seemed bleh. I got where I was tired of paying for a sub and would mainly go with free to play or even buy to play. So even though games like Final Fantasy would grab my interest with the same multiple classes for one character, it had a sub and I just couldn't see paying monthly for it. I just got where I was about to give up on MMO games and never bother with looking in to another one again.
Then Skyforge comes along and grabbed my interest. Looks like a good game and with no sub. I don't mind paying some cash every now and then for some market items, as long as it doesn't force you to buy stuff from the market in order to advance in the game or fully enjoy all parts of the game, kind of like how Star Wars the Old Republic treats it, where you can only do so much but to fully enjoy the game, specially at the end, you have to sub or buy stuff off the market to unlock restrictions on flashpoints and operations. I am hoping Skyforge will be a game that will make me happy and hold my interest for a few years. I would love to win this ultimate founders pack to help me get started.
Im excited for Skyforge because of what they are trying to bring to the genre. The industry has been stagnant lately and most of the new offerings have been mediocre at best. Im always excited for someone who thinks outside the box and willing to take a risk on new game design.
I also really love classless or no class restriction systems. It was what made the Final Fantasy MMOs so great, being able to change class on the fly and fill any gap in a group/party without having to roll a ton of alts.
Can't wait to play immediately- only got a chance to play the Technical Beta, and it's but a small taste of this awesome game. REVVIN' UP MAH CHAINSAW SWORD.

The hype got me
There's nothing that I don't like from what I've heard so far (and trust me I've spend a lot of time gathering information).
It's just the fact that it's free to play that bothers me, the little headstart this Ultimate Founder's Pack gives me would be awesome.
It really can't afford to spend both my time and my money on this game

Ok, i'll not be the god of trolling anymore.
I want to be the good of onslaught and griefing. Just for the lulz.
