I'm creating a little game on facebook.

I would need some people to test this game a little bit .

    Well, first of all, it is a https website which mean that I bought a Secure SSL.

    I don't know personally if Virus web site pay to infect... and second it is a game on facebook.

    My game is made in Unity, when you click on the link, you will go on facebook and see the Unity Web Player downloading.

    This software is needed for every Unity Web browser game. 

     

    I know what you mean by "Trusting", but I can't give you that. I've got many player who tried my Alpha game which is not very big at this moment, but I am trying to finish all the basic stuff.

     

    I can tell you this is not a VIRUS.

    I am the developper of this game which is in construction.

    Each 2 days, I'm trying to update this game with new features.

    If you want to try it, click on the link if not, I don't mind at all.

    I just need some testers for my games. If you have a idea how I can prove it so this game isn't a virus, tell me and I'll do it.

     

    When you have completed the 1 zone, you can try the other one, but they are all the same, I just need some feedback on the battle, the World map.

    I'm not trying to "poo-poo" your game, but may I ask why you went with a "Facebook Game?" I have not clicked the link or checked into the game at all, so forgive my ignorance :)

    Most Facebook games are money/time wasters built to annoy all your friends. Is this how your game is set up?

    Was Facebook an "easy way to host" your game?

    I am just curious why you chose to go the Facebook route :)

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    It seem like a good question :)

    I've played many games on facebook before which use energy where you have to wait to play... but  mine won't be like that.

    If you want to play 8 straight hours, go for it.

    I know facebook can send invite to other play so they can play and see the progression of their friend. Thats where I'm heading. I want you to create a team of 3 characters and challenge your friend and soon, go on Season of pvp against many other players. 

    When I'm using facebook SDK, I can provide something simple on my side for payment, easy authentification which check if your logged on your facebook. I don't need to send you a email when you forgot your password, it's all in facebook already :P. 

     

    Was Facebook an "easy way to host" your game?  It is also a part of the answer, it is more easy for me to make my game without any login and all that security. When your logged, now all you have to do is play the game and have fun.

     

    Also, when the game is more stable, I can provide a mobile version and just modify the authentification for that version. I'll see what I do when the PC version is better.

    Could you provide some info. While I do believe your facebook game is legit I doubt many would be happy to install the unity web app just because.....

    Provide some info on your game. Perhaps that might spark more interest then people needing to download something.

    I think your game has some roots in MMORPG because obviously I looked up some info http://www.netgore.com/forums/post/souls-war.html but still couldn't find much of anything about Soulwars.

    Yes, this is my game on Netgore forum.

    The game is in development, only the basic stuff is done. 

    I can provide you some info about it. It is a turn based web game where you must complete levels to go to the next one (like many game yeah) but, you must create your team of 3 characters and defeat waves of monsters to complete the level.

    This is is in Alpha, I don't plan currently to create a full website showing the game and everything, it is in development which mean, there are bug to be found. This is why I'm creating this forum.

     

    If you want to screenshots, where it is. I don't mind at all showing a little big the game.

    By the way, these screenshot doesn't show the final product...

    It will be still in 2d and be more polished.

    Best of luck to you Kassal.

    I would recommend a short video of game-play, particularly on a site like this. You have a very tough crowd to sell here and most of us are not likely interested in an FB game. But a nice little play/tech demo goes a long ways to making people interested. Screenshots don't do a game much justice these days -- especially when you have hard critics on the fidelity. Game-play is where it's at buddy!

    Monsters PC vs hero NPCs ?

    What goal of this game anyway.

     

    You need focus on the monster's nest (home)

    Why you need to battle with NPC ? the battle seem pointless .

     

    Seriously , the game need to give player some reward for battle.

    You have some art skill , but used too much unnecessary animation. Specially on the background.

    Click to drag the map is tired , better use menu instead of map.

     

    You know , i prefer able to control the PC run around the map

    Add the keys , i tired of using mouse to click.

    I just wanted to test the game in it's earlier day. I've been doing this game in 3 month and half, so yeah, there is lot of stuff not finished. 

    Best feedback ever, thank you very much. 

    When you say, you get crash at 4th bandit battle, I think I know whats the bug, you lost a member and then everything stop right? I'll fix this soon.

    I'll think about maybe something for some key, but maybe this game will go on mobile which doesn't have any key.
