I'm tired of testing every game to see if the fighting is not a 1 click ( like guild war, WOW etc). I've been playing RYL for the combat style, but seriously this game's boring....... so if any got good one to make me try let me know plz

Do you mean by "one click" auto-attacking, or just clicking the mouse button endlessly?
When people will pay others to play a game for them it might be a sign the game isn't all that fun.
DDO, but I'd wait for a free trial since I wouldn't blindly drop $50 on a game.
If you don't mind getting out of the fantasy genre you could try PS, WWII Online, or Neocron. All of them have free trials.
I'm talking about auto attacking, i hate that, i like to aim and i dont mind of keeping my finger on left mouse to hit. I really liked the way of fighting of RYL but no more the game so, any game that can offer a way similar of fighting, i will give him a try
T.Y for ur advice and ur game title
Vanguard is the game for you. The game wont be out for another few months though.
Check this article out on combat, it goes into a little of why the combat will be really revolutionary in this game: http://www.silkyvenom.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1893
Basically combat wont be twitch based, but instead much more involved in strategy and planning out your moves etc.
If your interested, here's the FAQ for the whole game, containing some indepth combat sections also: http://www.silkyvenom.com/pages/faq.php?

T.Y im reading it, sound ok as well, i'm not sure to get it all ( french quebecian) will the combat will be turn by turn ...... hope not, hope i didnt get it right :P
T.Y tho, if anyone got other game to make me try, lets go!!!!! if they got free trial, would be perfect, i didnt like to pay before trying
Stalph!!!!!
NP, fellow albertan here
no it s not turn based. They just just use "turn" as in your swing time etc like in other games. your "turn" is referred to the time you have before your weapon swings that you have to make a decision of what to do. Combat actually appears a lot slower than in other games and was a concern of the community, but it has been explained and proved that you really need that time because there will be so many things you'll need to consider and react to etc. the article will give a little insight on this then the the faq will further show what i mean.
OH and for your convenience here is a good french fansite for the game that have translated a lot of stuff, including the official FAQ, which is not as good as the one ive gave you but still decent: http://vanguard.mondespersistants.com/ Enjoy

rakion isnt that great either, its up thre iwth wow. it supplies little ot no content and wow is full of noobs.
try Freeworld, you have to continiously slash by clicking and your sword actually must make contact with the mob's actual mass.
Hi! My name is paper. Nerf scissors, rock is fine.

Try Rakion, but it isn't much of an rpg experience.
I believe PSO:BB has a free trial. www.psobb.com Or you can just wait for Phantasy Star Universe.
I'm not sure FFXI would suit your tastes.
For melee damage dealing characters, combat goes roughly like this:
1) start attacking, your character will continue to swing your weapon at the target until it dies or you change target. There is no manual aiming, aiming is automatic after manual selection of target.
2) each time you do damage with an attack, you get tactical points which you can use to do a special move (weaponskill) when you get 100. You will typically get about 100TP total per fight.
3) use a limited selection of job abilities as desired. The job abilities are on timers. The timers vary from 15 seconds to 5 minutes for most abilities. A typical ability would be a self-buff on a 3 minute timer.
4) weaponskills are usually used in sequence between players to set up a skill chain and magic burst which does massive damage
Tanks in the game tend to either have a limited spell selection or more job abilities and tend to be fairly busy. Spellcasting is manually initiating the casting of each spell and again aiming is automatic but target selection is manual. Some spellcasters are extremely busy while others are not.
Combat in FFXI is fun, but it sounds like you are looking for something more manual.
Roma Victor which launches in a month or so has twitch-based combat - for the truely skilled.
Noone roleplays combat games. Hell noone roleplays RPG MMOs.
Go play Fable, you dont want an online game.

FreeWorld is going to be opening up a new testing phase in about a month and they do not have auto combat.
www.freeworldonline.com
Here are all the games released I can think of that don't have auto-attack, and you have to aim in order to hit:
-Rakion
-PlanetSide
-Variety of FPS's
-Space Cowboy
-Skyraider
-Maple Story
-Navy Field
-Star Wars Galaxies
Upcoming Ones:
-The Chronicles of Spellborn
-Age of Conan
-Pirates of the Burning Sea
-Roma Victor
-Dungeons and Dragons Online
The only MMO without that 1 click attack is gonna be AGE OF CONAN. Most others still have that 1 click system but in a different package.
Here u will have to aim your blows to what part of the body you want to hit and different arrow combinations give you different moves.
