Console Version for $20?

Just got an email to pre-purchase a special digital copy of ESO on console for $20. I can't imagine I'm THAT special, so any current or previous subscribers should probably check their inbox. Freakin' sweet deal! SOLD!!

I know!! I'll be interested to know if the same PSN rules apply. My son has a console and we are able to play together on digital games since I'm the slave account on his PS4 and he's the slave account on my PS4. If we could play together that'd be ideal.

Now I just bought it, the transfer, Can't wait til june now. ESO will feel muuuuch better on a console :-D

I bought PS4 and Xbox one deal for £12.99 each. My son has a PS4 and I have an Xbox one we both get Imperial edition and can still play on all formats yet the progress will be separated after transfer.
Xbox One Imperial Edition Account Transfer
Your PC/Mac account for The Elder Scrolls® Online: Tamriel Unlimited™ will be transferred to the Xbox One. Your characters (in the same state), items (equipped to characters, in the inventory, and in the bank) will be copied at the time of the transfer. Please note that once the account copy is complete, any further character progress will not be shared between the PC/Mac and Xbox One. You will be sent an email confirmation once the copy has been completed.
Please note the following aspects of a game account are not included with the transfer: in-game mail, guilds, friends list, ignore list, Trial leaderboard status, AvA leaderboard status, and crown balance.

Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

80+ percent of Skyrims sales where on console. ESO could be a hit on consoles more than the PC. Also they have had a year to fix alot of stuff.

And if it sells 5M, 10M or maybe even 20M eventually on console so what? People bought Skyrim, played Skyrim and after some months it was dead. Doesn't make Skyrim a failure.
Edit: and no evidence, imo, to suggest that console players are any different to PC players when it comes to "consuming" content.

Ans theres the fact that Skyrims longeivety is based on modding. Not consoles.
Also, isnt this the "deal" they made for anyone who bought ESO at launch?
It's the only numbers that are available. Steam won't release the numbers and how many bought the pc box version and installed through steam ? how many digital console versions where sold ? swings and roundabouts.
I agree i've been trying to xpadder a good profile to play on my PC with a controller, it just feels like it would handle better with a controller, but without being able to change my ingame UI to the console UI there is just too many buttons and it gets super awkward... cant wait for PS4 / xbone release

yeah i was one of those people and i still believe it, but since it went free to play (even though i have a sub on it now) it's actually pretty fun and returning to the game, seeing the changes and having fun is what made me resub
someone will correct me if im wrong but i think the $20 deal is only for current PC ESO owners.
I got the email today and i cant wait to get it on PS4. The full game plus the platform transfer for just $20 is a great deal.

And what about PC gamers? we are very locust of content too. Look at how we hop from mmorpg to mmorpg to mmorpg to mmorpg etc etc etc.
Content locusts are everywhere, hating/trolling on one side of the coin only doesnt make it a fact.

Skyrim is pretty much alive, it is a singleplayer game and new content hits the net every day lol.

Well it depends.
The game on it's own is 41.6GB installed if you play NA / EU which is a choice on PC your install folder blows up to about 83GB
if they decide to make sure you have both incase you want to play on either server / swap between they might make it so you have all 83GB installed.. if not maybe only 41.6
Right. DCUO on PS4 will want to have a word with you.
Also, Destiny is still going strong on the consoles.
Seriously, if you have to base all your conclusions on some vocal screamers on the internet, every single game is dead and we would be playing cowboy and indian again in the back garden all day instead.
