We are proud to announce that we have finished with the implementation of the changes of the economy. We are now to proceed to the testing phase. The changes are:
1) added an Art Making and an Art Making Mastery as skills, together with related recipes and materials. These skills allow the player to craft house decorations.
2) Changed the building module and house recipes to include bricks and mortar.
3) House deeds are now craftable.
4) New materials for building: hay, water bottle, mud bricks, stone bricks.
5) recipes for ship modules now include Canvas as a material.
6) Simplified recipes for armor and weapons: armor and weapon recipes now require separate rank materials and a base mat; items become less expensive to craft.
7) Removed inferior mats from drops and harvesting; left the recipes for those materials so as the inferior mats can be converted to normal mats.
8) changed the danger levels so as that they reflect the locality of same rank mobs.
9) Removed the customization of monster loot for mobs of the same type in different areas; each mob type now has a specific loot table which is the same all across Agon.
10) loot is now redistributed according to material rank and monster rank.
11) all the armor set durability values are halved. This is valid for the new armor sets constructed only, not for the old ones.
12) normalized the armor ranks by introducing a new rank below the top rank.
13) localized resources; different areas yield different types of materials.
14) Adjusted scrapers to drop ship modules and dirt for bricks, trawlers to drop water bottles (for bricks).
15) city mines now drop rank 4 and rank 5 mats mostly (with 25% probability each).
16) reverted the harvesting to a more afk-approach.
17) essences do not drop from trees and super nodes.
EDIT:
18) every armor piece and weapon will also drop from monsters, but with a very low durability.

Very excited for the new changes! Myself and my buddy resubbed, he even resubbed two accounts. We play in a large clan with 4 other players who just started this month (me and IRL friend only played a few weeks during beta/launch). Game is exciting and dangerous feeling.
I get ganked sometimes, usually when I push it too long on the farming and must look like a plump chicken ready to be slaughtered.
Really looking forward to the next patch so I don't have to farm up as much secondary mats to refine raw materials.
I dont expect much. It will be bug ridden like all thier patches. fuck more stuff up then it helps.
Its all stuff that was supposed to been in game a year ago. Its meaningless when the population is this low. nothing to do.
Might aswell wipe server at this point.

I haven't seen any MMORPG with an inventory with so much functionality. Good job the dev who designed it.
I will start playing again when they remove LYE, Linseed etc, from the game which just makes it way harder to be able to craft items given the very low drop rates.
Otherwise I am looking forward to Dark Fall Original to come back rather than DFUW.
