You'd be surprised at how many of us would love to return.

Sorry, I should have reworded and clarified that. What I meant was that it's "probably" too late to bring it back and still profit from it.

I'm sure there are many that would play it if it came back today. Heck, even I would love to see it back online, but I've finally moved on after a year and a half of hoping NC would come to their senses and save a little face with their customers. They had their chance to keep it online with just a skeleton crew running the servers, bug fixing and moderating the game. It would have saved them a ton of money to all but shut down Paragon Studios and keep the game going while still charging for subs and the cash shop, but instead they killed it and screwed everyone that loved the game.

CoH was doing just fine, it was the overhead and their mismanagement Paragon Studios that caused the decline of the game. I still believe it was all on purpose and that there's part of the story that hasn't come to light yet. We may never know.

I don't know the cost for keeping up a server, but if they had one "mega"-server per region and a few GMs to handle problems I bet they could afford to bring the game back with a small subscription fee.

    dat lineage line doh...

no wonder all the mmos are failing... everybody is playing lineage... STILL.

'Sandbox MMO' is a PTSD trigger word for anyone who has the experience to know that anonymous players invariably use a 'sandbox' in the same manner a housecat does.

When your head is stuck in the sand, your ass becomes the only recognizable part of you.

No game is more fun than the one you can't play, and no game is more boring than one which you've become familiar.

Start with a billion dollars and make an MMO.

Wildstar, just simply be revamped, I think its core was very good, but fairly uninteresting classes and abilties, tied in with abysmal visuals and a dated engine means 100% failure.

I dont want to here chirping about how YOU get off on simplistic cartoony visuals most people don;t especially in a sci fi theme. If wildstar had modern visuals and had stuff to a solid sci fi theme artwise i would been block busters.

sorry space meet wild west = ZzzzzZZZzzzzzz

good game = good game people play good games not new games, not to mention half these new games are using visuals are engines that make them look 10 years old at release....why not play lineage?

Indeed. Can I get a jiggly female gon destroyer with a side of 75 ms latency?

That said, wildstar was kinda fun for me and I would go back to play it if it didn't have the subscription barrier. (wrong direction for me, wouldn't commit sub fee)

They will never get my money again, I actually liked Wildstar but refuse to give NCSoft any more money, I loved City of Heroes and will never have an MMO home like it.

No one asked for Wildstar. No one. It was a fail attempt at competing with World of Warcraft, and like all MMOs who try to compete with WoW, it fell flat on it's face.

NCSoft, if you are reading this.

RELEASE BLADE AND SOUL IN THE WEST

    AND I WILL DUMP THOUSANDS

Anyone that has actually played B&S can tell you why it hasn't been released in the West.

Something something no content something something.

As bad as the game is . Do you think f2p can even save it..I sure as heck don't think so. Even f2p  games need people wanting to play them. No one wants to play Wildstar but the people already playing it. And that's a fact. We could see the first so called AAA game go f2p and still fail.

    This.

I made the mistake of giving NCSoft another chance with Wildstar. Many parts of the game were enjoyable. The combat and open world (no door missions) drove me away. I really tried to like it, but I think it killed MMOs for me and to a large extent gaming itself.
