City of Heores huge problems

Lets see I need to request a lot of information on City of Heroes.
one thing about MMORPG in general is its Online game play only. when NCSOFT nuked the servers so dose CITY OF HEROES.
and what about the people who spend good money for the game and keep paying time card and buying points for upgrades
The issues must be sold.
What can be done for a COH fan to continue to play CITY OF HEORES.
So far I have not found any solutions. I have a few ideas
I will be more then happy to download a mod to play City of heroes with out the online servers
another one is private servers. Now hears the problems. Private servers are well hated. Paragon Studios that developed CITY OF HEROES do not get paid. 2nd. Segs did try that and failed. simply do not have the man power and the know how to get the job done.
I tried to talk some NCSOFT and gone no ware fast. it got worse
the only solution is to mod City of Heroes to play with out the online servers
Clue. some one from China did report to me and I lost the email They do have a mod to play City of Heroes with out the online servers however I do not know where to find it and did not have a English version
Perhaps a download to mod my windows to make my computer my own server. well to fool the system saying my computer I am using is the server to log in to.
What can be done ? waiting for news for what over 2 1/2 years for a new publisher is not gone well
I am suck in the mud not able to use what I had paid for and its killing my mood

^ This.... to make it work offline you need to make a private server, you cant just make the game work offline, you need the server code for basically everything, so unless you make a private server (emulator) you wont get the game back.
