Me ?? i prefer dog because it's a man's best friend (y)
For me, I guess I would choose a dog. Although I do admit that never in my life did I own any pets, but, I did have contact with pets. My fondest memory of being close to pets was of my father's parents' dog(two, to be specific). As a typical, young child(or you could say pre-teen) that age(about 9?) I had an irrational fear of most animals, however cute they were, as my mind was completely brainwashed by videos of dangerous and scary animals on Youtube and such(I started using the computer at that age and began exploring it leading me to find the said videos). This irrational fear of animals was further amplified when I met my father's parents' dog at their house because that dog was exceptionally fierce(at least that was what I thought as I couldn't understand the thinking of my father and his parents that the dog was just being "friendly") by barking loudly and always trying to touch and lick everyone. I became so scared of it that they had to lock dog into one of the rooms to coax me into coming into the house. The older I was, the more interested I was about him and so I kept peering through the door's hole to look at him time and again. The more I saw his pitiful eyes and cries(I think?), I felt even more guilty for his "plight". So one day, when I was brave enough(about 12 years old), I told them to let him out, and, to my surprise, I actually had loads of fun playing with him! My happiness wasn't long-lasting though, a few months later, I was told by my father that he some kind of lung problem and my father's parents had euthanised him. After thorough examination, it was found that takoyaki, which my father's parents should not have gave him for consumption as he was a dog and it was only meant for humans, got stuck at his lungs for weeks without notice and it made his lungs weaker. They discovered that he had some kind of problem a step too late, when he started to not be active in his daily life. The veterinarian could not do much to help him either so the veterinarian suggested him for euthanasia to end his suffering. They bought a new dog, and now I'm also having loads of fun playing with him. So, dogs FTW!

Same with me... I do love dogs! I was so touched with your story.
I prefer Cats, cats are more independent and are generally cheaper and less demanding pets. Dogs are loyal and obedient but require more attention and exercise, including regular walks.
Its hard to decide on those 2 cute animal. But since me and my wife currently has dog name Abra at home, BTW he is a Shitzhu type of Dog, so I'll go with a Dog. But offence for those people who likes cat more than Dog. I also like cat, but I'm more of the type of guy who wants to have a dog walk with me during morning time, afternoon and evening when I'm having my jogging. So for me, again I'll go with my final answer dog
We'll at the moment, he has a lot of ticks but MADRE CACAO leaves is really working. You just have to boil the leaves and bath you pet. it leaves good smell too..

Wahahahahha yeah right. At first, I told my son that name is really bad. But since I bought that Dog for him, so mind as well let him give the name for our dog. Beside its just a name. Not really a big deal at all
I like dogs because their all unique in their own way, no matter what you do they always love you, and they are awesome, and unbelievably cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I go for Dogs... because they're mostly cute, playful and they are there when you need them and they are so lovable. They are always ready to play or cuddle.
