E3 2015 was a historic event for the gaming industry. Whether you’re an old-school gamer that was dying to finally see Final Fantasy VII’s remake announced, one of the few people that held out hope The Last Guardian was still a thing, or just a fan of gaming looking forward to the biggest and best new games the industry has to offer, there was something for everyone. Hell, we even got the first ever PC Gaming Show this year! That has literally never happened.

There have definitely been a couple of great reveals. Well, not so much "reveals" in the sense of the games being announced, but rather in the showing of more info.
I can't wait for some of them to go live. And hopefully Gamescom will bring us some more news to bridge the long waiting periods.

I imagine the local RPers think differently. Unless I'm misreading you, and you are saying guild halls are impossible to get without GvG?

He is saying that Guild Halls serve no purpose, and are completely worthless without have Guild vs Guild fighting in the game.
Any mmo worth its salt should be like a good prostitute when it comes to its game world- One hell of a faker, and a damn good shaker!
Maybe those on your own list would?

Don't tar everyone with that broad-sweeping brush of yours. I refuse to help finance the fast food restaurant equivalent gaming dev's. Rather than wagging your stick like the old man on the porch, support indie dev's who are also sick of the current state of MMO's and gaming in general, and are trying to make a difference.
None of these games interest me at all. This year is bad for MMO gaming.
The only thing that had me open my eyes was Star Wars Battlefront. Not an MMO, but, finally a game that has great "pew pew" combat in a Star Wars enviroment.
Oh, and Pantheon, Rise of the Fallen Alpha invites by the end of the year!
They already announced GvG. And even if they didn't announced it, guild halls has nothing to do with GvG. BTW They announced 5v5 Guild ladders and 20v20 guild arenas for GvG's. You can invite other guilds to your guild hall and do GvG with them.
Not one game i would ever play terrible selection i must say.

As if 2014 wasn't bad enough for MMOs, it looks like 2015 and 2016 will be following suit.
Sword Coast Legends is the only really new thing on this list. All 4 of the others ones had me skim through to see if there was anything interesting and I sure didn't find it.
However, when I read "Bioware’s handling of the Star Wars property has always been much better than most fans probably could have ever expected" I did actually burst into laughter out loud. Thanks for that! KOTOR 1 and 2 were excellent but then they let fans down with SWTOR.
