I've been trying to send out Buddy Trials all day, but the site has been down the whole time for me. I guess that you can connect then? So far I have 39 people that havn't recieved trials before you sent out yours.
Sites up for me, it gave me a weird error saying I couldn't connect but the IGB - News page worked, so I connected to that out of game, and that I think may have synced my DNS. Beats me, but after that I have been able to connect. But right before that I was not able to connect.

Yah, I'm guessing that they might have moved their web server to a new IP, and it has yet to propagate over here. Do you think you could post the IPs for myeve.eve-online.com and secure.eve-online.com please?
Hi, all! I'd love to try the game. I've read the suggested thread, and I think I'm ready to give it a shot. I've been looking for a game that focuses more on PvP, and this seems to be the game.
I tried to get one off of the EvE site, but the key isn't showing up in my inbox. I even tried just BUYING an account but I keep getting a 'COMM_ERROR' and it doesn't go through.
I want to try this so badly, I'm so sick of warcraft and I think this might actually be exactly what I'm looking for.

14 day trial? Oo me me! I've heard this game is right up my alley, but it's so small (and based in Europe, so extra lag) that I've never been able to convince myself ot buy it. Please drop me a key so I can finally learn once and for all if this is the type of game I like (I prefer playing merchant/trader, crafting stuff, etc.)

This game has a player based economy that is totally player driven... except for NPC skill sellers.
What do you mean by small? This game has one of the biggest if not the biggest "world" out of all MMOs and there are over 100,000 players on one single server. That's not a small game by any means. Sure WoW has 5mil subscribers, but no WoW server comes close to being able to host 100,000 players.
Also, they just updated all the servers so there is hardly any lag. Even before that, I play in America and there wasn't much lag. This isn't WoW.
