Let me start by saying that I'm not a big fan of Metacritic, but I do check every once and awhile. That being said these Metacritic user ratings are very impressive.

    Very deserving in my opinion. It's an excellent MMO.

    Unfortunately I have so little faith in this community, that you may have just doomed the user ratings to suddenly drop significantly.

    It is a good game. Watch out though, bringing this to the attention of the ESO troll brigade does not seem like a good idea.

    Critics once again show how completely and utterly out of touch with reality they truly are. The fans have this one right, as usual, the game is superb and getting better every patch. In a world chocked full of meh mmo's this stands head and shoulders above the pack!

    What a difference a year makes... ESO without the TU: 5.7 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/the-elder-scrolls-online back in the days when trolling ESO for not being Skyrim Online was a global passtime.

     

    Not quite as bad as DMKano's true love, Archeage: 3.6 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/archeage but closer to that ballpark than to the TU scores.

    The future is looking bright for ESO. Now if they can just get the PC client stable again...

    I like esso alot, i played it for a few months after release. I hear its even better now. Whats keeps me away is the grouping issues. I have weird playing hours so its not always easy to group. I like doing dungeons and trials. But as it is now if your not in a guild forget it. I can join guilds no problem, but with the times i play which is usually in the morning or afternoon no one is on.  The ONLY reason i play wow is because people use the group frinder and i can find grps at anytime of day. If i could do this in esso i would be playing. Makes me sad really.

    Wonder what the people rating it so highly will think once they hit veteran levels and the Champion grind...

    i stopped my main at vet 1 and started leveling my alts. Vet exp is way too slow (on PS4). I wouldnt mind the slow exp rate if it was like GW2 where everything you do grants you exp. I'll start saving any exp boost i find if there is any outside of the crown store.

    If you can handle it you can grind from v1-v14 in about 12 hours with an XP scroll.
