What a terrible list - Trove? Wildstar? It's almost like you guys got paid to do some marketing for publishers and this "piece" is the result. Between this and news on non MMO games like Hearthstone, it's apparent that the genre I love is slowly sinking into oblivion.
I'm not a huge fan of GW2, myself and prefer SWTOR for the simple fact that it has the Star Wars IP; however, how in the heck can you not include GW2 on this list?!
If you are going to throw SWTOR on this list, for an expansion that is around the corner, then why not GW2 -- which I believe is the second largest MMO currently on the market after WoW?
Of all the banter going on in these comments in regards to the article, this is the most deserving argument. It is a glaring ommission and the most obvious flaw with the article above, IMHO.
Wildstar is everything I wished WoW would have been. Think of it like music; the reason it isnt popular is because it isnt popular. It's the same way some lesser artists are SEETHING with talent and yet completley unheard of, and Kayne West who cant even compose his own songs is Booming all over the world. The popularity of it does not dictate its quality, as most people are idiots and sheep, and just stay where the masses are.
I played WoW until they made it silly and I used to love that game. I've tried every other MMO since its launch in an attempt to find what I used to love about WoW and had no luck, until Wildstar.
I am also 100% sure that IF WoW Launched tomorrow, it would FLOP HORRIBLY, people would not pay for that shit. The only reason it keeps its players, is because it has players.
For the people thinking that Skyforge was missed. I have to disagree.
While the game is new and shiny to many people, I have a feeling they will get tired by the repetitive instances and the terrible grind to unlock the classes they want to play. While it looks complicated at first, once you understand the game, you will get bored.
It is a great game, which is really well rounded. It has all features a modern mmo should have - and more. There is really much content and a vast planet full of secrets to explore.
The art style is superb and everything fits together. The only thing this game really needs, are more players. go little players, play wildstar

Just my 2 cents worth.
