After having downloaded this game and playing through first areas. I have to say overall this game is an interesting concept.
The ability to switch classes on the fly gives you a great deal of flexibility and can keep things interesting. So far the graphics are nice and smooth with very few flaws that I have noticed. The active type battle system in place creates a very fluid method of attacking any foe on the field without having to change targets via tab functions allows you to address threats as they come up.
Storyline wise the concept of being Immortal and having to gain followers to achieve a god like status is a rare path taken in MMOs and I will have to see where this takes me though it seems like it kinda pigeonholes you by having to be a good guy and help people in need (because lets face it sometimes it's just fun to be the bad guy).
Now I will have to say this and probably risk not winning any of the giveaways in the process but I do have to say the one thing that bothers me is what appears to be a complete lack of a crafting system in this game. At heart I am a crafter. I love to be able to go around and collect needed components and create armor/weapons/food/alchemical goods. Searching the forums it's stated that this is somewhat addressed with the follower system but that is just not the same to me.
anyway thanks for reading hopefully I was not too long winded.
Right now the different missions. I’m used to open world mmos/rpgs and while I still prefer open world it’s a nice change from what I know, and the theme of each mission have this far been very different from each other. So it does truly feel like you go to different areas of a planet. I also look forward to unlocking some more classes.
A little Sci-Fi dipped in some Fantasy, good mix. One character that can eventually be any class, and change your class at any time as long as you are not in combat. Starts simple and gradually ramps you up by introducing you to how the different systems work. Combat is fun and responsive, each class handles differently and have their own strengths and weaknesses.
The game is F2P and can honestly be played just fine as that, but has a Premium service for those that wish to support the game. The biggest difference between the two, is time convenience. But, to prevent an unfair advantage to those that have a premium subscription and a lot of time to play, there are weekly limits to some of the rewards you receive.
Realy liking the open ended skills system, reminiscent of old skool RPG's and how it seems you have to work for things instead of having everything handed on a platter.
The game really attracts me. The artstyle, graphics, combat system, class system etc is all so beautiful. I got really bored of WoW and getting a new pc very soon so I might as well give this great looking game a shot!
i enjoy the ascension atlas and the combat system also the swapping class system isnt far behind the ascension atlas is sooo vast (grindy yeah) but still very good with much potential
I enjoy the graphics and the freedom to unlock classes the way I want to. Caps are nice too. At least for me as a casual gamer to have a nice chance to compete with others.
Well... The character creation was funny for ex: If you wanna make your character a female fatal you can change the dimensions of the rear, the girl gonna slap one buttock and gonna make an expresion, if you change the dimensions of the boobs she gonna see his boobs and gonna make another expresion, the same happen if you make she fat or muscle.
The Atlas is so long and make me remember FF and Path of Exiles something nice to me 'cuz I has been played both, by another way sometimes is so lazy go to Instances looking for mats to upgrade the Atlas and sometimes you don't need Green Gems or Orange Gems but you must use that Characters Gems / Tokens (I don't remember the names), this ones can be farmed in any instance in any momment but of course we gonna have limits of this one to get.
Another thing very very enjoyed (for me) is the possibility of play with the other class and learn a little from the Training Camp where you can select one of the 13 classes and play the Training, I forget as you complete the training with any of the 13 classes you'll receive a reward; Class Costume (depends about the class what you has been selected to do the training like; Knight, Gunner, and so on).
I enjoy that its put almost all the thoughts and idea's i had from traditional mmorpg's and their grindy flaws, and created a fantastic game almost as how i would create my own game. Remove levels, use a different unique system. Use talents and a system that makes the user feel like they are progressing and are always working towards unlocking something new unlike wow nowadays where its talents are completely stripped and simplified.
It has pickup quests on the fly and in the zones, seriously who wants to walk around collecting all quests and run back to hand them in? it allows u to hand in and recieve ur reward instantly.
Unique classes, bringing new elements and idea's into mmorpg's. Where Wildstar was a massive let down, Skyforge has succeeded at bring a unique and fun scifi mmorpg experience bringing you back for more.

See you in game.

Took a look at the game over the weekend and, boom, suddenly 2am
Well polished and engaging - being able to switch classes is nice and there is a high level of translation into English.
I have noticed some server lag and gameplay pauses but as the paint is still fresh on this one then that is to be expected.
Was overall surprised by Skyforge and looking forward to continuing to play.

Try it for free, and give it a shot!
Should've called the game "never bored" always something to do, something to unlock, etc.
Also, it's my birthday on the 22nd

I hate WoW and what it has done to the MMO genre.
What I has been enjoyed on Skyforge?
