A poll about Star Citizen should poll the backers (and no one else)  because it is THEIR game and THEY make it possible. THEIR opinion counts.

The backers have access to the RSI forums and can vote there. A poll somewhere else would be open to non-backers and would not bring the necessary results.

    >>> Most of the forum people are just fanboys. >>> you know the forums and know that it is not true. There is A LOT of constructive criticism. Keyword here being: constructive ! This is easily verifyable for anyone interested, as you can visit the forums (read only) and see for yourself.

Who would like a full refund.

I guarantee the poll results would look a lot different from the above results.

Go ahead - post on the Star Citizen forum and start  that poll.

    Have fun

Most of the forum people are just fanboys. So make whatever poll there is meaningless.

The only polls with some "value" is in terms of selling things, because then, those who are there are those who usually spend more money.

But in terms of customer satisfaction, and similar issues, is meaningless. Always will be very few votes and fanboy bias.

Most of the forum people are just fanboys.. Are you for real ? The vast majority of people posting on SC's forums are backers.

Polls regarding SC concern and are primarily addressed to the backers. Why? Because they paid for its development and most importantly they are the ones playing the alpha hence they have hands on the game. So yes, their opinion weights way more than some random persons on a random forum.

The numbers on both polls are indisputable.

"backers of the game should have access to CIG Semi-detailed Finances ?"  (141 votes)

    Yes  17,02 %

    No   82,98 %

    Once again... another meaningless poll.

Every poll posted on this thread is indeed completely meaningless.

Anyone who puts any stock whatsoever in a random poll on a random forum lacks vision.

Still, for some reason people still like to fantasise about meaning where there is none.

As 90% so the threads on this forum are posted by the same guy and contain the same inane benality, it does seem that interrest in this game is pretty much absent here so I wonder why he continually bothers.

I wonder if this thread spammer realises he's hurting his precious game, not helping it. He is drowning out real discussion, which is kinda irrelevant as well as any actual discussion threads seem to get locked anyway.

Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

another thread? seriously? what are you trying to accomplish? Do you think a poll on their own site with a few votes reflects the overall backers opinion about this game?

your threads are becoming obnoxious and I am pretty sure many of game supporters agree that you are hurting the public opinion of  this game at least on this forum.

have fun ... with your 1001 polarizing and  meaningless thread

How many  on that list are qualified to judge a games quality? What kind of criteria was used other than simply asking a bland question? It is like asking a bunch of old people about government, likely 90% are happy ,then ask the average working class person and likely 90% are unhappy, then ask both who the President is and likely 90% don't know.

Hence why numbers NEVER mean anything, just like reviews ,unless you know that  the person knows what they are looking at and is not related financially in any way to the project, then you will never have accurate answers to any question.

You can ask Chris himself and that would give about the same result.

Personally i ALWAYS go by what i  see not by what i don't see and i see nothing of promise ...yet.That doesn't mean there won't be,i have never said that ever, that doesn't mean we might not see a Triple A result, however as of right now,i see an Indie developer with a game that looks Indie with a VERY profound cash shop.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Your link has the following URL:

    https://robertsspaceindustries.com/forums/topic/is-star-citizen-an-mmo-or-not/

    The answer (from the FAQ):

    http://starcitizen.wikia.com/wiki/Frequently_Asked_Questions

    "Is Star Citizen an MMO?
No! Star Citizen will take the best of all possible worlds, ranging from a permanent, persistent world similar to those found in MMOs to an offline, single player campaign like those found in the Wing Commander series. The game will include the option for private servers, like Freelancer, and will offer plenty of opportunities for players who are interested in modding the content. Unlike many games, none of these aspects is an afterthought: they all combine to form the core of the Star Citizen experience."

    PS:
Quite some time ago CIG has re-designed  their homepage and concentrated their FAQs in one place:

You may still find old, no longer existing pages with that 404 Not found error message linked above, see also

I am sorry man ,but you missed point of my last  post !

  • ErillionErillion Member EpicPosts: 10,317

    Dear AgentJoseph,

Please enlighten me w.r.t. the point of your post.

If your point is that Star Citizen is heading into and exploring previously uncharted territory (as the Star Citizen version of the 404 Not found error implies)  ... i agree.

    Have fun
