Regarding wipe(s)

in Project Gorgon

Character levels wont be reset but items might be wiped for better economy


Unlocked Races will not be wiped


Another response to wipes, some resets while others wont

    Unless I am mistaken...  it's a purely PvE game... so who cares?

    Sorry, I think you misunderstood me.  I was not knocking it as a PvE game.  I was suggesting that because it is a PvE game that whether or not there is a wipe is not as big a deal as in a PvP game where you are in direct competition with other players.  I can see how my statement could be read the way you took it :)

     

     

    I actually played this game quite a bit over the weekend and it's surprisingly good!

    Part of the reason why they don't want to wipe is because it's pve and they want people to support/play the game.

    There currently as of this moment is no competitive pvp, but you are able to do it through certain effects. A wipe as of this time is not really required because of the way the game works and the current cap on skills(capped at around 50 max cap at launch will be 125) although a full economic wipe would be in order since even though the skills are caped players can still accumulate wealth and this in the long run might give more of an advantage than say having the best current gear.
