Hey guys I've got a pretty bad PC.
Win XP service pack 3 and quad core with a NVidia Gt130.
What are MMOs that I can play play fluidly and that aren't P2P.
Would be great if you can show me some!

Maybe Cryptic? Their engine can be pretty slim, not sure about Neverwinter but played CO on a very weak gear years ago...
Though the GT130 wasn't that bad, so on low settings it should run LotRO or Rift as well (and wow but that's p2p). Same goes for eastern stuff like Lineage or Forsaken World etc.
Aion, AOC, LOTRO, DDO, GW1 (buy to play), Runes of Magic, Allods, Shaiya, and Aika.
You might have to turn the settings down on some. It's possible that some have new installers / downloaders that won't run on XP, but all of these were compatible with XP before it eXPired.
There's also this service:
http://www.leapcomputing.com/
Although it will require a sub fee, you will be able to play any game you wish at high detail.
https://www.eldevin.com/
This works on a pocket calculator.
No he won't be able to.
That service is at the moment only at concept stage, and selling access to servers that do not exists located on data center(s) that aren't even being build yet. Even if they managed to launch and get it working, it's unlikely they'd have data center close enough to OP for some years.
I'd recommend Runescape or Dungeons & Dragons online. They are both likely to work on that system.
If you like turn-based games you might want to try out Dofus. It would probably work too.
Of the newer games, Trove might work on your system. It's not a large download to test out and try whether it works or not.
I would say World of Warcraft, any version including retail.
Not into that elve , orc and raiding daily thing myself, but it runs basicly even on a Pentium 1, 16mb RAM and a Voodoo VGA.
"going into arguments with idiots is a lost cause, it requires you to stoop down to their level and you can't win"
if he cant afford a new pc what makes you think he can afford that lol
My old rig had a graphics card that didn't have Shaders, so there were quite a few games that simply wouldn't run. But I played EQ1, AC, DAoC, WoW and PWI on it. Yes, it was slow and sometimes gave me fits at any but the absolute lowest graphics settings, but it ran. I generally had more performance issues with the dial-up modem.
It is capped at XP 3 because of the processor, and was at the obsolete point -- upgrading any component required upgrading all components. (AGP-4x slot, old 32 bit PCI slots, IDE interface DDR DIMMs (64/72 bit, 128 pin modules) and a 462 processor socket). I built it in 1999 in order to play EQ1, and it had a few upgrades along the way. It's sitting peacefully next to my new machine, virtually unused except when mom wants to look at Facebook. (I've tried to discourage that, but you know how moms are).
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
Both are browser based, and hardly require PC specs lol.

According to http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-130M.13789.0.html
You should be able to run games like Left 4 Dead at the highest settings which is a good looking modern game.
When you are playing any game make sure you are using the Nvidia video card and not the integrated Intel one.
Also I strongly second GW1, By far the best mmo I ever played (6 years non stop, no breaks) it's probably the best optimized 3d mmo out there as well, I remember playing it at max settings and getting constant 60fps on a low spec crappy netbook back in 2008.
Some popular low spec f2p mmo's I can think of off the top of my head:
Guild Wars 1 (b2p)
Dungeon Fighter Online
Allods Online
Linage 1
Everquest 1
Ultima Online
Ragnarok Online
Mabinogi
Realm of the Mad God.
These may run ok:
Rift
C9
Aion
DDO
Linage 2
Everquest 2
Perfect World
Forsaken World
Echo of Soul
Good luck hope you find something you enjoy.
Ryzom
Wakfu
EDIT: you can also give The Mana World a try https://www.themanaworld.org/index.php/Downloads
Or even PokeMMO if you like that.
I assume you have a laptop with that GFX card, otherwise I would recommend you to change it, you probably know someone that have something better just lying around and collecting dust.
You could actually run Guildwars 2 on low settings with it as well as long as you have 2 gigs of ram:
- Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or better
- Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3 OR AMD Athlon 64 X2, or better
- 2 GB RAM
- NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI X1800, Intel HD 3000, or better (256 MB of video RAM and shader model 3.0 or better)
- 25 GB available HDD space
I think that is the best game you can run on it, but it is time to start saving up for a new PC.Why would you even suggest gw2, My high end gaming laptop can just about handle it. Gw2 is one of the most horribly optimized games on the market right now along side tera, OP you might be able to play it at the rock bottom lowest settings. it will cost you about $50 it will look like crap, probably still run like crap and the game in general is crap. My advice - stear clear of gw2 even if you had a gaming rig i'd stay away.
