EDIT: I forgot to mention that you're going to need to make use of Google Translate, which does the job perfectly in this instance. Don't translate the whole webpage, simply copy/paste the text you need to read (all the text is highlightable which is a life-saver). Translating the entire page causes problems so don't bother with that.
Even though from what I've read, I don't like the direction the game appears to be going in (fast leveling, no reason to PK and large penalty for doing so, fixed prices you can sell items for, recent addition of instanced PvP) I still really want to try the game. I was hoping it was going to turn out to be the action-combat successor to Lineage 2 but oh well.
I heard the Russian servers are trying to be more "hardcore" than the Korean ones, where you can PK at lvl 20 (instead of the soft-cap 50) and maybe with less penalty so rumor has it?
There's also been an English patch for the KR servers, and it wouldn't surprise me if they do one for RU too. So watch the sub-reddit and http://black-desert.com for the potential release of an English patch (which seems likely).
Admittedly, this is a shameless attempt to get some referrals, but hey. We can use this thread to share our keys and help one another get in (because their isn't one of these threads on MMORPG.com yet).

- Click the big green/blue button
- Click the VK button to sign up for an account with that Russian social network (requires phone number, doesn't have to be Russian) - You need this for creating your GameNet.ru account.
- After creating a VK account, you'll be took back to the main page and you can make a GameNet account. You'll be sent an activation email after clicking "send letter" under your email - Go to your inbox and follow the link.
- Go back to the page where you clicked "send letter" and click "already confirmed" (after following the link in your email, obviously)...
- Activate your account using a referral key from someone else, I'll shamelessly ask you to use mine (pretty please!
): [mod edit] - And finally to get access, you'll need to get 3 people to sign up via your referral link. So post your referral links below.

I just talk a lot of shit, nit-picking is one of my pet-peevs. Don't be offended, I'm just some asshole on the internet. Smile, tell me I'm an ass instead of playing the "I'm mature and you're a baby" game. People who use that in real life, are usually the boring ones you don't want at the party.

I'll shoot the dude a short PM with a link to this thread explaining that the main-english black desert community site, and Reddit are doing the same thing (a code sharing thread). I mean the thread's a little redundant without that ability.
