Free Mobile MMORPG List and MMO Games - MMORPG.com

A few months ago, Blizzard announced that 100,000 World of Warcraft player accounts had been temporarily banned for up to six months for using bots. While arguably not actually solving the entire issue, it was a significant slap to bot users everywhere.

    Could really care less in PvE. Hell in WoW for the most part people been playing along side bots for 10 years and most have never even realized it. Not the first full group of bots running dungeons I have ever seen. Seen ton's of RAF Tank and Healers that were bots while leveling and tbh they do better than 90% of the non bots. That is why I normally play one or the other as to not leave a required role to someone who has no idea what they are doing. Now PvP on the other hand is where I do not want to see bots. Any player vs player environment in any game becomes not very fun real quick when bots get involved whether it be RPG, FPS, ARPG, or whatever else you like to play. I work with process automation and AI interfaces pretty frequently and have so for 15 years so the behavior is easy to recognize for me. I have watched tons of people interact with applications and never even realize that it was not a human behind the keyboard. I always find it entertaining when someone starts to see the behavior patterns and then their eyes are opened and they start to see it every where around them. I find that experience most entertaining.

    It's an issue between where the news post is made in the News tab in the top navigation and the way it's imported into the forum. The techies are on it. :)

    In dungeons It's sometimes better to be grouped with bots then players. bots actually do mechanics where as players just stand in the fire and blame the healer for sucking.

    These occurrences are quite exceptional though for the usual player, they rarely encounter bots. Blizz did what they should have by banning those 100K+ accounts, after they get enough info, they'll ban these people and their new bots as well in the next wave. The fight never ends.

    At least the bots automatically upgrade their gear, anyone ever try and heal a tank at lvl 21 with all white gear? Either they're new, stupid, or just did not understand the game, most likely all three. And if they knew, then they were just a dumbass.
