they think they created a competitive shouter with this game and are aiming for the big leagues..
But the reality is that the gameplay in this game is crap
I put this game next the starwars battlefront failures..
Again companies focussing on visuals and less on gameplay
I think the REAL truth behind the Hero/level idea is that if players had Hero levels, they would stick to the same Hero which does not promote the cash shop.
The "STORY" idea sounds to me they are really setting up again rmt with novel sales but doesn't really have a story per say.Example it is one thing to claim a story but in game players are ONLY concerned with pvp,i don't think a single player even remotely cares about story.Matter of fact, watching several streamers, the ONLY thing they were concerned with was their rank.
To me it also really seems like they are winging this game which says RUSH JOB.Like they maintain the same idea in all their games, a hero, skins,esports/pvp,they had some assets from Titan and just whipped this out.
I can only point back to my Unreal days,i wouldn't care at all about rank or progression,it was more about the FUN factor way more so in first person shooters than a RPG.I think too many get hooked on rank and levels it becomes a lure to bait them into coming back over and over for a very superficial reason,as i said the FUN should be the reason and great combat supports that.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
