The Korean version of Black Desert Online is going to be updating on November 19th that will allow Sorceresses attaining level 56 to "awaken" a new weapon, in this case the Harbinger of Death scythe. To show off its awesomeness, Daum released a trailer. Check it out!

    Anyone check in on the health of this game's special effects artist after the repeated grand mal seizures he suffered during combat design?

    So Asian stereotypes. She holds a scythe and instead of being focused in long black clothes she wears outfit from the red lights district at Amsterdam in purple ?! And at the end we have a medieval mecha ? Instead of adding a rifleman as a class and then going for this mecha. But no its another Asian title with a warrior who transform his hand into a cannon.. I am following this game and i like its aesthetics but the awaking system sounds too Asian. I was expecting they would focus on team gameplay content rather another "solo milestone". I had high expectations for this title, but not anymore.

    Kind of defeats the purpose of being a ranged caster, doesn't it? Why have classes at all if they all play like melee rogues with slightly different graphical effects?

    LOL, could it be more over the top. That combat would just get flat out annoying and headache inducing after awhile.

    seriously? now the asians are stealing stuff from other asians? it was kinda interesting when they took western ideas and build em in their game (styles), but this? where is the difference now, lvl of detail?

    I couldn't agree more. As someone who likes to take a lot of screenshots, this whole game looks great for that. But literally all of the animations in the game are TERRIBLE. The clips they showed in the trailer make the combat look really bad to me.
