If you can overclock the CPU to 3.5 ghz it should be fast enough for new games. It's so old that it won't be good cpu even if you overclock it, but it should be enough for running the games.

NVidia GTA 760 is already a bit older graphic card, but if you get it it's enough to run even new games. That GTS 250 won't be enough for new games.

What's your current PC like? If your current PC also has 4 gb ddr3 RAM, how much more expensive would it be to just keep your xbox and upgrade your current PC?

I wouldn't make that trade.  You've already got a better video card than he does.  For the CPU, he's got an older quad core, as compared to your newer dual core, and while his is better, I wouldn't give up much to upgrade to it.

What if i trade it and just sell the whole pc he gives to me i ll get aroung 180 euros and can get new i5 coz i wont be able to sell the xbox 360 for more than 120 euros

Well the 360 is running 10 year old hardware...

I say if you can sell the PC for more than the 360 go for it.

That's good advice.  I'd advise against trading for his PC and planning to keep it for your own, but if you're going to sell one anyway, you might as well sell whatever you can get more for.

For what it's worth, both of your computers would be respectable low-budget gaming rigs from around 2010.  Your processor technically didn't launch until 2011, but it was low end at launch.

If you're looking for an upgrade over your current, you should save up your money to buy new or at least something much better than what you already have, not buy 6-year-old parts.
