It's official! The Final Fantasy VII has arrived today for PlayStation 4 users, though not the keenly anticipated remake that will arrive later. The remake will be exactly that: A total remaking of the game, not just an HD update.

    Thanks for the heads up. No old school turn based it seems. More action like crisis core. Eh I grew out of turn based so guess better for me.

    I mean I kind of agree with you to an extent. At best the game will be like FFXV or Crisis Core, but honestly those two aren't really bad (at least CC wasnt), so it really just comes down to what you want. Now I'll never shell out money to buy the old 7 on a console (even though I did pick it up for 3$ on amazon not long ago) but the newer iteration might be good. People thinking that it will be as big as old 7 and have as much depth are honestly delusional, cause it wont happen. Just take it for what it is and it'll be a better experience.

    I just had to go check out some of the trailers for the remake, if thats not going to be on PC too, then i think i might have to get a PS4... O.o

    Why did SE make such a crappy 'remake' of FF7 for the PC a couple of years ago when PS4 now gets a game that looks THIS AWESOME?

    After seeing the remake trailer, i really want to play that game, okay, FFVII was my favourite of the entire series, that i am finally going to have to buy a PS4 to play it though, is annoying as all hell.

    There are those who have actually played most if not all of the FF series, then there are the rest who have no idea, either too young or just trolling for kicks. Regardless, FF7 deserves all the attention it has and will continue to receive. FF7 has single-handedly revolutionized the RPG genre and deserves respect. Now ask your mommies go out and buy FF7, sit down, shut up and play like a good little kid.
