Destiny

You know I gave up Destiny just after 2nd DLC. I was on youtube today, and saw these two trailers.  Live action no less, and I could help but think. Instead of a game they should have probably made a TV series out of it. I think I would have found that more enjoyable in the long run.



In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.

    Surprised you missed the first video - pretty sure that was a pre-launch ad. Second one of course was for the recent new content.

    The nice thing about a non-sub game though is you can just go back to it. Neat!

    As much time as I spend on youtube, yeah I'm surprised I didn't see it either. Probably one of the better advertisements I've seen in quite a few years. Though not as funny as those Doritos Superbowl commercials. lol

    I've been enjoying it. The newest expansion made the game a lot better in my opinion. They added everything the game needed at launch, the new questing system is a hell of a lot better than any of the old long ass bounties. Plus all of the heroic strikes are fun and relatively difficult and the way gear is dropped now is nice. All in all I think Bungie made the game so much better than it was originally.

    Really. Guess I'll give it another try in the new year then.

    Destiny is still worth the money compared to other offerings.  I wish I had taken the deal on the Forgotten Kings bundle instead of getting Black Ops 3.    Yeah, Destiny may be filled with monotony and require some work to get with groups of players, but it's a far cry better than Black Ops 3 and it's abysmal multiplayer.  I want my 50 usd back. x x

    I can't think how Destiny would work on PC tho because controller is funner than k/m. It's a great game but my difficulty is to find people to play with and pug can only go that far. Still go back for strike playlist from time to time, fun!

    Sit down with Logitech. Ink out a deal with them for specially designed Destiny PC controller. Bundle it with game for 65 or 70 dollars. Do a Legendary edition with Base Game + Controller + All 3 DLC's for 99.99, could even sign a deal with MS since the xbox360 controller works well on PC. Could even use PS4 controller with DS4 installed.

    Well what I meant about controller vs k/m is that if k/m is available, it doesn't matter which one is funner once the competition kicks in... Then human nature... Then all the fun are killed. Heck I am trying to play some games on my pc with a ds4 but no if you group with people they'll ask "why are you so incapable?" I almost wanted to say because I was having fun!
