    I'm thinking of getting it, but I'm not sure about it yet. I'll let you guys try it out and tell me how it is. Don't be too biased. Don't try to sell it to me. Just give me the TRUTH!

    If it is good and has a lot of potential to be a long term (more than a year) game, then TELL me. But make sure you give the Good and the Bad.

    I have both the 9th and 10th off and have it paid in full at this time. So I will be on that mug all day. I will post what server and names here then.

    Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I have beta tested the euro version of this game, and to tell the truth, i was far from impressed. There is VERY few differences between all the creatures, (All damn slugs, for at least the first 10 levels). The community completely sucks, no one ever talks and if you ask a questoin 85% of people will ignore you and walk away. I was really looking forward to Horizons, but im totally dissapointed, and... as for the dragon race... they can't even wear and wield any items to make them look any different from the next dragon.

    This game isn't all what its cracked up to be.

    I would like to do that, but I just have a really bad feeling about Horizons.  I thought it was going to be one of the better MMOGs, but there's been so much negative word of mouth from those inside the beta that it has really turned me off.

    Dragons can't wear items or wield?  I know it sounds weird for a dragon to wield a sword, but I never thought about them not being able to.  If they're limited so heavily, then who cares?

    I pre-ordered and cant wait to give it a try. I have heard some varying opinions since the NDA has been lifted. But i usually like to try it for myself. Will see you guys online....

    My only question is are there only 6 different monsters in the game?

    They only list: withered aegis, ogre, ruxus, spiders, undead, and werewolf.

    Im looking forward to getting the game as long as it will last a year or so.

    I think it would be cool if we get an MMORPG.com clan in this game.  If you guys are organized about it, it will work out well.  Just be sure to pick out a world(server) ahead of time, and make sure you get everyones contact names (AIM, Y!, MSN).  After that i'm sure thier will be a 'friend' system ingame that allowes you to set and track people as friends, see when they are on, and send quick messages to them.

    I will probably try the Chaos server to mirror my careless personality. However it will be imperative that I find a server that my names will not be taken when I get on.

    Eh, unless they got rid of them there's also maggots but ya, there's virtually no variation in monters.

    Hehe, well there was the ghosts, that were human, fiend, elf, gnome, etc.  And can't foget the big golems either.

    I do hope Horizon's does well, although it does need some work, but if they dev's pay attention and all address the issue that will happen after release the game can be turned around into something good.

    I think I'll wait a month or so after release so they get all the bugs fixed out.  Besides, I'd like to have a few people more experienced than me when I get lost and confused :P

    If I do get it, I will be on Expanse (a role-playing server) only because the guild I am in is there. My name will be Alethor so look me up and send me a message. I will probably get the game a week after release, depending on reviews.

    i preordered it and will be on the 9th or 10th. my name will be Psiboi, the gnome mage/scholar. lets meet on twilight server. i hope to become a conjuror, itll b so cool creating elemental items for use by players!(i hope that the conjuror can also use them)
