So, Project Genom? Why no info?

I was surprised that aside from the main page there is almost nothing on this game, and it is an actual MMORPG.
I became a founder because I'm jonesing for a new SF MMORPG. The vedeos look promising, the voice overs are in Russian now, not a problem for me, they have subs ;), but it is still late alpha/early beta level. Can't say I have high hopes, guessing the small team and budget will have the same problems a lot of other MMORPGs are having recently.
I'm just surprised about the lack of info.

Well, I think the simple truth is simply that they are a Russian team and haven't had that much contact with the distant media.  It doesn't seem like they've made too much effort to spread the word to the mass media.
Maybe they just didn't want to put out much hype before their launch time.

TBH, I first heard about it months ago in a thread on this site.  It wasn't even a thread topic, just a post someone made in a random thread.  Honestly, I haven't heard much about it since.

As to how well-known it is in their local area, I have no idea.  I would bet more people know about it in the Russia region, though.
I guess they just aren't communicating alot with the gaming sites.  I wonder if there are many Russian sites covering it more or if they really haven't had any press building at all.

I had heard about it somewhere before, and recently it was mentioned on the list here for 2016 games, so I had a look again. I have a feeling they just aren't hyping it internationally yet. Didn't see to much Russian chat, maybe the servers are separate though.

UE4 engine but that is it.Sci-fi Space games have just constantly looked boring and cheap to me.The reason is developers do it cheaply and good reason why they chose the space genre because it is accepted as being empty and boring.

I also always see the same old minigun hand pistols,,,,zzzzzzzzzz boring,if your going space/sci-fi you need to spice it up otherwise might as well just hold the game on planet earth in times square.

Yes Fantasy and Space games both using boring rock textures but what does space games offer after that....star textures with some floating auto generated asteroids...boring.

Point being if someone can put some real effort into it other  than cheap boring weapons, boring space textures and put some depth into the game, yes i would like it but i don't see that happening any time for a long time.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

True @Wizardry, and it's a shame with all of the good sources there are to pull from. Can still hope though!
