Hello everyone,

I am here to promote a game that is in need of support from a loyal community of games interested in trying something new. I have partnered with game developers to spread the word of this game and in the hopes of gathering enough people to help support this game and push it towards the chance it deserves.

Luvinia World: A Game Like No Other

What does it offer?

- Gear enchantment system that goes up to +20 (Imagine a lv 99 weapon at +20 good god!)

- Class change at lv 40 and lv 80

- Lv 80 Enhancing using powerful elements to further cripple your foes
- 3 Production skills to choose from (see below)

These Classes Are:

Beginner (new character) - separated into one of 3 categories.

1. Mage (magic/dps)
2. Rogue (ranged/support)
3. Warrior (tanks/damage control)

Mage then splits into 2 other class types at lv 40 - Warlock and Priest
- Lv 80 class change splits into 2 more choices for each depending on what you chose at lv 40

Warlock > Wizard or Necromancer
Priest > Sage or Bishop

Rogue > Scout or Artist at lv 40
- Lv 80
Scout > Assassin or Ranger
Artist > Sword Dancer or Bard

Warrior > Fighter or Knight at lv 40
- Lv 80
Fighter > Swordsman or Berserker
Knight > Dark Knight or Paladin

Each class is good in their own respective way, it depends on the player and the gear/skills accompanying them.

Production Profession Skills (1 of 3):

1. Tailor - Makes inventory bags, and leather-based gear for Magic and Ranged/Support Classes
2. Blacksmith - Makes weapons, and gear for warrior-type classes
3. Alchemist - Makes potions, and other valuable stat-enhancing items-some of which can only be crafted by an Alchemist

Game Item Mall:

This list is only a brief glimpse at various kinds of items available for purchase. They require in-game cash to purchase them. You can reload your game cash as needed through the website.

Mounts:
1. Forest Goat
2. Tribal Unicorn
3. Undead Horse
4. Slipper Bunny
5. Nyan Lion

Outfits:
1. Pink Nurse Uniform
2. White Tuxedo
3. Constellation-Based Outfits (Pisces, Virgo, etc)

Game Items:
1. Planar Essence (Key item for crafting specific items, and making outfits/mounts permanent)
2. Enchanting Stones Grade E - A (E being the lowest)
3. Mount Level Upgrade Boxes

Recently Added:
1. Wings (wear them in-game as an added fashion statement AND an extra piece of gear with stats)
2. Apocalypse Gems - Protects gear to only lose 1 enchantment level if over +10 (otherwise it'll fall to +3) and provides an extra 5% boost to succeed

We have created a GoFundMe campaign to try and earn 500$USD to help open the server for 1 month minimum. The goal in the campaign is set to 8500$ to help support the game for 1 full year. We need loyal, loving players who would be willing to support this game and get it funded so work can be done to fix old bugs and bring the game back as soon as possible. 

Yes, there will be a reward for everyone who donates - this has yet to be decided on but it'll most likely be free game cash as a deep thank you for the support.

    I remember playing Luvinia back when it was still under Outspark, and I liked it. 
    Let's be honest here though.

    I'd imagine rights to it would have been available for gamigo, but with the cash cow that is Fiesta, why bother? The game wasn't at the best position back then (thanks to Outspark), and it certainly did not get any better with its revival as Luvinia World.

    So I'll get to the point. 
    Like others out there, this is a game that would have potential if it was cared for. Who's going to care for it now though? Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed this game, but the only way for it to get its justice is to be put with a good publisher and that's not going to happen.

    I would hate to see yet another game brought back just to have nothing done with it. Good memory, better for it to be dead than brought back again with nobody caring. (including publishers, which, by the way, if you guys found that one publisher notorious for reviving dead games, I hope you guys see through their BS and run the other way)

    We already have the connections necessary to run the game properly, we just need funding and build up the community to kick the game off to a better start. 

    Once that is achieved, we will be looking for the best people we can find to become in-game GMs and provide amazing events and implement changes to the cash shop as well as some much-needed bug fixes. We promise this game will be grand in a new start, it got off to a rough start from Outspark having to leave it without notice - no fault to the game whatsoever.

    You'd think that an MMORPG with a large enough playerbase to keep the game reasonably populated should have no problem bringing in at least tens of thousands of dollars in monthly revenue, if not hundreds of thousands.  If your game community is so small that raising $500/month in revenue to keep the lights on is a non-trivial thing, then maybe it's time to let it go.

    I'm actually here on a job from the CEO of the game - I now own the rights to Luvinia World and the CEO informed me of the costs, and as a young aspiring person, I need a little help getting funding for the game. This article is mostly about getting new players to come take a look-and help us re-launch the game.

    The Chinese server of this game has nothing to do with the North American server. They are run differently, and thus ours needs some help. No one has offered to take on the challenge until now, and I very much plan to get this game back into the air again. 

    We are accepting sign-ups right now for a potential re-launch in early February. Everyone who signs up will be given free in-game cash as a bonus for starting the game. This isn't a lost cause, and I truly believe this game has every chance at becoming as great as Dragon Nest, or Maple Story, or any other game out there. It just needs the right audience to support it through thick and thin, and I plan to show everyone just how amazing it is.

    Also I would like to add, I will be searching and putting together a team of people like myself who will back this game up and see it become what it deserves. There is the potential to earn some money as well as the game picks up speed.     Caitybee - I just hope you aren't being used.  It is a very common tactic for these free to play companies to offer in-game incentives instead of real financial compensation.  The CEO may have promised you something, but unless you are receiving some type of financial compensation, and not just in-game fluff that you will forget in a few years, I would be very weary wary of this situation.  I worked for an online gaming company as a community support and community manager for 4+ years.  Its common for players to be taken advantage of in order to do free work that the company itself should be doing.

    All this negativity isn't doing any good - I already have 10 people who were ex-players to back me up on this. The CEO is not using me, he doesn't know what to do with the game so I decided to offer help and I signed a contract. The game will be returning and it'll be better than ever.

    It's not negativity when a game goes down and people wonder why some are trying to bring it back by asking for donations. The game obviously wasn't profitable enough.

    Your answer shows that you are wearing rose tinted glasses so I think @TheHavok is on to something and you are being used to gather donations for a minimum payment.

    sounds fine, but way too pay 2 win

    I would check it out, and maybe even back it, but knowing that I have to buy stuff from the market just to enchant my gear is a no shot in hell from me and a lot of others.

    put mounts, pets, outfits, exp boosts, gold boosts, pack space, bank space, IE not stuff you have to have, and maybe you will find enough support

    I have spent quite a bit in every game that is F2P that doesn't force me to buy stuff to progress

    I'm confused and maybe you can clarify.

    Caitybee, are you saying that you are now the NA publisher for this game? I thought this was an SOA published game. Are you just a 3rd party marketer that the CEO has hired? Are you a 3rd party localization team?

    Without knowing that, the only input I have is that this looks like a game whose direct competitors are maplestory and ffxiv which is a hard climb to say the least. I don't see a hook or differentiation on the main page and if I were a MS/FF player, I'd see no reason to switch. Does this game provide any innovation? or are you just planning on succeeding through guerrilla marketing?

    Its possible the team running the game before was sucking the money out of the budget and wasting it.  Some games just need a new team running it.  I would be cautious on how the game failed in the first place.  Meaning where did the money go.  It appears you are being offered a decent contract with that small operating cost.  For that price you could just get a loan from the bank or something.  I see this is a dream come true for just about any gamer out there who has ambitions.  To actually own publishing rights to a mmorpg and only need 6k$ a year to run the game.  Well if you believe in the project then get that money out of the bank and buy some advertising and get the ball rolling.  As revenue starts coming in then you can start to hire staff and development team. 
    Are you onto something or just on something?

    I agree, the product looks solid enough that it may just need new marketing and localization direction. Which is why I asked if Caitybee was actually the new publisher. There's a lot you could do depending on the agreement. This would also be influenced by what the developer relationship is. Are you going to be able to actually do dev changes in the publishing house? directly influencing the cs and events? or will these be on a 3-6 month list that the devs may/may not approve or even have time for?

    Is there going to be a conflict in regards to SOA? In other words, are the rights cleared for a different NA publisher?
