I was just testing AC2 a few hours ago, sad 600 members online total/on all servers. Horizons is nearly the same game but has a poor version of a Morrowind style skill system.

If I was you I would cancel you order and support "mmorpg.com's" other discussion forums.

The game is great. Do not listen to people who call themselves "Porkster". Please see 100 other posts where he bashes the game.
Cland I'm assuming you're saying that horizons is great and not AC2 but in either case they're both aweful. I don't know if you have been in the horizons beta but speaking as someone who has, it's really not at the lvl of any of the current MMORPGS available. The only thing that horizons has going for it is it's crafting system but since it lacks a great name like Star Wars Galaxies had, it will fail horribly. I'd have to agree with the first poster that this game will follow the same path and will die a slow death.
Actually I have seen the beta extensively, and, based upon what you are looking for, Horizons is the best game in its genre. If you want a game with a strong community and no PvP to confuse things, then this is the game for you. If you are looking for PvP and no real community aspects, then try Shadowbane. If you want to meet in the middle try Dark Age of Camelot.
Excuse me- the beta testers arent the community. You do not know as much as you think as well. The game can't be judged on a few hours of beta play.

It mirrors all the bads and goods of MMORPGs as SWG did. Unlike SWG when glitches and bugs enhanced the bad, Horizons may do better. It will still be buggy as hell until they get that 800MB patch 3 hours after its release. Plan on an unplayable game if that patch does'nt work out. The game ships tommorrow...D-day.

Actually do not listen to Clandestine. I beta tested this game and I can say it is total crap. Zero content and tons of bugs. This game is another AC2 (or even worst).
Sorry Horizons fanboys but Porkster is right.
I'm not sure if you were talking to me about your 'few hours' of beta comment Kiamde but I suppose you could say that if you just look at 1 day I played. I played through 3 resets coming back each time an releveling both my character in adventure and crafting schools. What's funny is how each time the same held true that this game is simply has no content. And the biggest joke is how everyone continues to beleave that somehow Horizons will magically pull a 180 after release and suddenly be so much better with so much more content, it won't. It's a little white lie by the marketing department to make a last effort to save a sinking ship, nothing more. I suppose though we'll hear about that in a few months when people that buy the game start to question what it is exactly they're purpose is in Horizons world.
Btw, that is a clear sign of a horrible MMORPG. When some company decides to release a game saying they are going to be adding so much more content at release, that honestly should be a red-flag that hey, something just isn't quite right and yes, that game just might be a piece of....ya.

Not too many people at the mmorpg.com forums live in Europe. The majority live in Canada and the US.
