Runescape will always have a special place in my heart, as Runescape Classic was my first mmo when I was 9. I still return to it once every couple of years for nostalgia purposes, but it's a shadow of what it once was in terms of a player-base. Online card games are not my thing, but wish them the best in expanding the brand, maybe a regular rpg or rts in the future?

Well, there's always Runescape Old School if you want to go on a nostalgia-trip to 2007.

I was invited into this beta awhile back. However, after reading the TOS and  the open ability to my PC requirement  allowing  several entities involved in this project to have fuill access to my PC, it made me run and never look back. I suggest everyone interested fully read the TOS so you understand completely what you are about to do.

The game itself isn't fun or innovative enough now-a-days to keep me no matter if it's RS3 or Old School. I've kept an eye on old school populations, and they're always similar or lower than RS3. Plus I actually like some of the changes in RS3.

It is a pretty cool idea but how well it is implemented i will have to wait and reserve judgment until after i see and hear more.
Yes i usually read all the fine print, even recently i realized some game,i think it was BDO was using massive cookie advertising and tracking and allowing those trackers to stay active up to two years. To me anything going beyond my time on a website is ABUSE and disrespect.

I even recently found out H1Z1 and another game were loading spyware onto my PC,supposedly to track cheating, but without my known consent is imo borderline illegal.

Well, Open Beta starts on March 23. Thinking of giving it a try?
