Good, I was waiting for this since January.

PS I guess $ 900 000 reasonable sum, if they hype things up the right way (and finally update the site...) it might actually work.
     W...aaagh?

900k is extremely conservative in my mind. I think they're going to clear that and hit multiple stretch goals afterward.

    LOL.

All the hype about an announcement coming out on the 29th  and the announcement comes out on the 1st....

Maybe they should spend less time in IRC talking about the announcement and had spent more time doing the actual announcing.

    Does it really matter "when"?

It does to the lowest level of detractors, anything and everything they can find is bad they'll relish in it, however slightest.

If they cared to engage with the core community and find out the inner workings of things, they'd have known they worked overtime on finishing the video with better / improved visuals than first planned.
Visit the Chronicles of Elyria official site and the Official Wiki... an upcoming MMO from Soulbound Studios with real consequences to your actions.
Finite Resources, WYSIWYG looting to player created and maintained maps and a deep modular crafting system. So much more that hasn't been said, ask questions! Post your thoughts! Spread the word of COE!

No it shows they continually miss their own deadlines.

If Walsh had kept his mouth shut until the video was actually finished before making the announcement date, there wouldn't be a giggle about missing their announcement date.

Continually?  There is a pattern of missing dates? How many dates could there have been for a game not even in Kickstarter?

Besides, a few days is a rounding error in game development.

No harm, no foul, unless of course you are just looking for things to be upset about, yes?

I'll definitely back this campaign. I hope this will be the MMORPG that finally gets rid of static NPCs giving the same quest to each player over and over. I liked GW2 for a while, but that got boring too because after a while you are doing the exact same thing over and over again. I want to feel like a hero for a change and not be sitting in a theme park ride.

I tried Gloria Victis didn't like  terrible animation like 2000... graphic super outdated .

Chronicles of Elyria didn't even start kick starter but already looks thousand times better I cross fingers ....

After EQN cancellation my hopes are on this project

I'm looking very forward to the Kickstarter for this, I just hope they do it properly (in the vein of Star Citizen).

For an MMO like this I hope they really shy away from giving most players real in-game benefits (in the form of gold, armour, etc.) and that the rewards are kept mainly cosmetic or game-driving (Custom Surnames, starting with a noble title, starting with land, etc.)

I think it will be like that Surnames, maybe titles and land depending on influence.
