In preparation for Dark Souls 3, I just finished Dks2 Scholar of the First Sin (even though I have played Dks2 many times), replay of Demon's Souls and am currently partway through Dark Souls.
- Dungeon Defenders 2 pretty much beat it since I got max gear and level. - Metro Last Light (Great Game even the previous one)
Besides those I tried 3 times State of Decay, Dishonored and Grav (Early Access).
State of Decay is okay at best. I honestly hate the combat system but it CAN work if it wasn't for the constant need on helping the other survivors and the small backpack. I don't know, I guess I expected to do everything on my own or at the very least make it very hard which I wouldn't mind. In the end you will end up going back and forth multiple times because you can barely carry anything.
Dishonored it didn't really grab me. People said it is amazing but I can't seem to enjoy it. I LOVE stealth games but Dishonored doesn't seem to work for me.
Now I am playing final fantasy 8 and I'm on disc 3, so I'm not that far off. I never beat this one because I honestly hate the main character and the plot is soooo dumb (My opinion of course), but for some reason, this time I managed to keep on playing for longer than the start of disc 2.
Might as well finish it hehe :proud:
Apart of final fantasy 8, on sundays I like playing a little on a psx emulator. Atm I'm playing Digimon Digital Card Battle.
XCOM2 Most of the time I finish any game I start within a month. I don't buy games as often as I used to so it's easier to complete almost all the ones I do get.
Don't be afraid, you can do it. Don't give up skeleton!
I honestly do not like really hard games. Feels like work. I mean I want a challenge but I do not want it to be really hard and punishing. I have a stressful job at times I want a more forgiving experience in my gaming. Not push over easy or anything but not throw my Keyboard out the window hard.
The game is NOT that hard, it's just unforgiving if you make mistakes over and over.
Unless you want to play as a dual wielder or with a 2h weapon, some combo with a shield or magic is more than enough after one or two attempts.

I am afraid of the Dark Soul games lol I do not like to be frustrated when playing a game.
Last game I beat was Oni and the Blind Forrest. What a beautiful and fun game. I only wish you could go back and run sections of the game you previously beat.
Last game I played and beat was Ori and the Blind Forest. Beautiful game, and really fun, but so short and easy. : / Only lasted me 8 hours, and I got 100% completion.
I wish good games were around more, and longer. >.>
I have a lot of games I've never finished and have bought but never played. Last ones I've finished were, Sniper Ghost Warrior 1 & 2. Others I've finished lately, Watch Dogs, DARK, Splinter Cell Blacklist. Currently playing a few MMO's and Grim Dawn. Looking forward to playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

I admit I never really got that phrase or concept "to beat a game" - and I'm an avid completionist, if there's a %-based tracking system then it's a given I play it to 100% Still, I don't "beat" my games, there's no triumph in completing them, games are more like a buddy or partner in fun, with a pat on the back at the end like "thanks friend, it was a fun ride". Maybe just semantics, dunno.
Anyways, in the sense of turtle's meaning: among MMOs, it's CO for me. Went back last year after a long hiatus to check the Onslaught update, and pretty much stucked there for a while, took two heroes to the cap, one through the original way, and the other through the Alert system, to compare the two routes. Needless to say, I enjoyed the first one much much more CO has lots of missions, nice stories, funny writing (sometimes through the 4th wall), interesting characters... It's a great ride. And since I've played all the missions and storylines in every zone, I think in turte terms we could say I've "beaten" it. (True, the Alert leveling is much faster and easier, but also a boring grind. I leveled a healer that way, which was an optimal pick for the comparison test: squishy healer is slower to level through questing, while in Alerts she had almost a "rented" place, never been in the queue more than a minute. Healers are needed all the time...)
In single games, my last one was the Shadwen demo (which I think was suggested right by you @blueturtle13 ). Maybe not qualified for the "beaten it" title, since I wasn't able to finish it without raising a suspicion and without hurting any guards - not sure it was possible without cheating - but it sure was a fun experience. Before that, on the singleplayer side I'd say the two Nelson Tethers Puzzle Agent games, even if those were short and easy, more like a casual stroll than to "beat". Loved the story though, and the funny references
The only game I have "beaten", if playing through main story counts, is Fallout 3. Got so many titles I need to play through.. But singleplayer games makes me feel lonely most of the time.
(Edit: upon further introspection, it was actually Far Cry: Instincts as this game came out the following year. However, of the two single player campaigns, Halo 2's was slightly more memorable. Both games have excellent things about them: Halo 2's polished campaign and fine-tuned multiplayer, Far Cry: Instincts' map editor)
