Chad "Pappylicious" Moore has stated on the WildStar Reddit that the planned release of the game on Steam is still in the works for this Spring. This is good news for fans, though we have yet to hear more from Carbine about further plans.

Let's face it, to everyone who hasn't been living under a rock Wildstar is that one game that failed twice already.
The only way this game will shake it's stigma is if Carbine hammers out patches and quality casual content (and i'm not talking about lazy hoverboard races here) like crazy -with whatever there is left of the team and it's probably all time low ambition.
I guess we couldn't blame any of the remaining devs for being busier with typing resumes to send out instead of code for the game ...so to speak.
Has nothing to do with the case.
Steam's got to take under its wing, Tra la,
A most unattractive old thing, Tra la,
What a caricature of a game,
What a caricature of a game.
And that's what I mean when I say, or I sing,
"Oh, bother the Wildstar that blooms in the spring."
Tra la la la la,
Tra la la la la,
"Oh, bother the Wildstar of spring".

If all 7B people had the internet, even power in some places.
I hope they do as well. Its sad when "quality" games don't make it; it discourages others to make "quality" games. (And quality does not mean everyone likes it of course.)
I think it is going to be .... tough but we can hope.
Steam will probably not save this one. I hope Steam proves me wrong. This game is beautiful, hilarious and well animated.
Whats killing the game who knows they fix tons the problem they had a year ago, It can be all the end game problem thats not keeping people for longer points of time. Is the same system mostly from world of warcraft in the old days, what the wow players trying to do is bring back to same system thats not working in wildstar.
But I see this in other game too when they put to much there time in end game then the rest of the game feel like to have fun they need to raid or even do harder high content, that turns people away to much then the rest the game start feeling it.
Read again his last paragraph a lot of wisdom there.

I do agree that wildstar is nice looking game for people that like the art of it. Yes I do agree that said that endgame was the main focus.
Combat is just small part of that game what went wrong but is not the main part what went wrong was a list of things that many do complain about in many places that the game is not harder then it is now, when a game did came out to be abit harder then other games people just jump ship.
