World of Warcraft players looking to gear up alts in a different way can check out this week's timewalking event, this time taking place in the dungeons of Northrend. During timewalking, player gear is scaled back to what it was when the dungeon originally debuted requiring a full 5-player team to complete. Reward gear, however, is scaled up to current content making it a great way to gear up all of one's toons.

    That actually sounds pretty cool. Not cool enough to resub and buy the xpac, but pretty cool.

    because they are lite on news stories in the mmorpg world and wow had a article on their page about it giving mmorpg.com something to write about. Shes gotta pay her bills somehow you know?

    Also there wont be any news worthy things from wow until the summer and pre-patch for the new expansion. Its part of the reason why wow sub numbers continue to decline. They had a once in a lifetime sub count and proved they could be top dog for years its too bad the brass at blizzard are cocky and think they can continue to not provide content for almost a year with each of these expansions and not expect to lose most of their playerbase in the process.
