Really can't wait to try this. Its PVE, progression, and loot have me thinking it'll be a more robust Overwatch.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

I have high hopes for this one too. No wonder Blizzard announced an OW open beta event to the exact same date when BB launches. :) BattleBorn just seems to be a safe bet for me if I consider that this product won't rely exclusively on the quality of its PvP infrastructure (ping, matchmaking, balance, etc.) and the size and consistency of its community. BB just wants to be a fun solo/multiplayer PvE/PvP game for a wide audience and it's more than enough for me to chose it over OW. Considering that both titles launch in May I can't pick up both just yet. For me OW comes second and only if it proves to be a solid title in its first six months or so. The worst thing that can happen to me in BB is that I play it solo mode instead of PvP or co-op PvE. At least I'll have the option to play it solo so that I'll be able to enjoy the game anyways if things won't match my taste on the multiplayer side (server quality, matchmaking, nightly concurrent player numbers, etc). I just loved Borderlands 1-2 and I'm expecting at least the same quality from BattleBorn.

I liked the game a lot when I played it in the last Beta. PvE has a nice humorous story to it and was not to hard or to easy to start. The loot is nice and does not really hurt PvP as you still need to earn it in every match so skill still matters, but gives you something to "grind" for if your more of a PvEer.

PvP side of things were a good speed. Not to fast like OW can be sometimes and not to slow. Usually good 20-30 min sweet spot. I also liked how teamworked helped win a match, but also an individually skilled player could still be effective when getting kills.

I am getting both games, but I definitely recommend anyone to take advantage of this Beta to test it out if the box price scares you. (I personally prefer the P2P model, helps keep cheaters out as a ban is costly)

I personally wouldnt call it more robust than Overwatch considering Blizz makes higher quality games, but the fact that BB has PvE makes it way more appealing than Overwatch to me. I just hope the AI is smart and not just brainless bullet sponges like Borderland bosses, and Destiny's PvE in general.

Im skeptical about the price point for both games at launch. But having PvE will automatically add more replayability to Battleborn and could justify the price more than OW, assuming the PvE is fun and there is enough of it.

    IMO.

I wish Overwatch had PvE and a bit more progression, I really like the characters more in Overwatch. But BB looks like a better game to me.
Now Playing: Bless / Summoners War
Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile
