Ending Its Run on May 31st

The Nosgoth team has posted a notice on the game's Steam portal to let players know that the game will be ending its run on May 31st and development on the game will cease. No reason was given for the cessation of both development and service, but players who made purchases since March 1st will have funds returned automatically.

    Any time a game shuts down it's tragic. Even for a game I only played once or twice. I hope all these folks are able to find another project to work on shortly.

    this was a good game ... very difficult at the beginning but quite challenging once someone has spent some time in it ... very tragic indeed ...

    Agreed, this game was good but I bet this was a case of mismanagement because they made weird decisions and didn't promote enough or go f2play. As far as pvp goes, it was fun.

    The game was super fun. But it wasn't promoted well at all, and there was little to no tutorial. I know a lot of my friends who tried to play the game didn't like it because it was too hard for them to learn each class well enough. I enjoyed it but got bored relatively fast.

    This game has always been free to play. Sure you're not thinking of something else? Their monetization model was not the best though.
