Well that was an experience, not unlike watching folks play Crowfall's Siege Perilous map for the first time (BAM-XP gained for using a transitional opener). Not because Siege Perilous was bad, but because it was stomach churning in an exciting butterflies way! You know what I'm talking about. That ping of excitement you got in your gut as a kid-long before life beat you down and took it from your soul.

You mean she is like a combo of the bright wizard and shaman from Warhammer online. So she wi1ll have a chance to tick a self damage proc like the bright wizard at full tilt and have a yin/yang pull like the shaman had with Mork and Gork bar?

Siege Perilous turned out to be a lot better than what I expected. The map is gorgeous with its Trees of Life / Bane, all the new objects and structure destruction. Nice article Timothy =)

Please don't spread images of Fae Assassin, they aren't allowing flight in this game, it's just a gimmick.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if they get angry, they'll be a mile away... and barefoot.

Ostriches would be considered a gimmick too, then.

I don't remember the developers ever mentioning that any of the archetype (or mounts) would fly.

Yeah as long as its not fire hose healing and support cant just sit in back spam heals with no consequences they will be holding to their word. Too often people read what they want into dev statements. Best advice is to take them at face value and judge it when we actually see it in game.

All they said was no fire hose healing and everyone interpreted that as "ERMAGAWD NO DEDICATED HEELZ CLASS BUT I LIKE TO HEL!!!" And before people get panties in a bunch, yes, there are male Druids.

    From the Combat FAQ #5, 6, 7 and 8:
"we made the game purposefully light on in-combat healing, to make it more deadly."
"Combat healing effectively adds a multiplier to each combatant’s effective hit points. [...] It makes less sense in a game focused on skill-based player-versus-player combat."
"Our intent is for the support archetypes to have key buffs, debuffs, and physics related powers at a cost of damage or defensive capability."

This. They clearly shifted their healing POV just like they did their avatar concept. Its part of getting into a game off a KS. Its frustrating at times (I did not like the avatar switch) and good at times (I like the healing switch) LOL
Well I think it will depend a lot on how much the Druid can heal. They modified the Legionnaire recently and apparently its heal is a lot less potent. If they keep adding physics related powers (like the Legio's knock back, push, etc.) and other buffs/debuffs I guess they'll come close to what was initially planned + a little bit more healing than expected. If Druid heals a lot though, that could be disappointing for some people (but not for you!). =P
