I am playing but some reason the game is very sluggish on my PC

what could be wrong?

I just finished the starter area. Didnt expect the game to be this sluggish in the starter area on my PC.

    The game is sluggish, and *still* after what.. 3 engine upgrades now? - it still has that ridiculously wonky movement. Click a point on the ground, and watch as your player zig-zags all over the place to reach it, taking far longer than should be necessary.

    Okay, Jagex, you've proven you can create prettier and prettier looking engines - now how about working on the performance of the damn thing?

    Same here, the game is surprisingly still laggy for me. They need to optimize it better. Have you tried going on the lowest graphics setting yet? It looks worse (obviously) but it does run noticeably faster for me.
