Been looking for a good mmo to get into to fit into my schedule with Overwatch and while I wait for Legion to come out.

    It's hard to say how popular they are - as we don't really have any solid numbers on many of them.

    However, based on my "gut feeling" - these are among the most played currently:

    Star Wars - The Old Republic
    The Elder Scrolls Online
    Guild Wars 2
    Final Fantasy XIV

    Of those, I personally prefer Elder Scrolls Online by a large margin.

    WoW's there too, obviously, but since you're waiting for Legion, I guess it's pointless to mention.

    I would have to say WOW. Why? Well you could do your theory-craft as to what to level as a fresh 100, maybe roll a class/race you have never done before. Now if WOW is out of the question and you have played everything try Tera, it has a neat combat system and a welcome change from WOW.

    I think without question ESO. Even more so than WoW in the west.

    There is still FFXIV and SWTOR. Though probably not as strong as they once were, I'd still put them in the top 5 or 10 Maybe GW2.
