W’ve been dabbling in the closed beta of Riders of Icarus since its first iteration. Each time, Nexon’s latest MMORPG has improved. But is Riders of Icarus (a port of the popular theme park MMO in Korea called Icarus Online) more than “Just Another Theme Park MMO”? Read on for our early impressions of WeMade Entertainment’s fantasy MMORPG.

The combat in bless will make you punch babies. It's that bad.

Is it ground breaking? No. For a beta test, is it solid? Hells ya.
If you're looking for the next big thing, you won't find it here. But if you're looking for a bit of fun, it's a great laugh.
I'm on the fence about this game, it is dated but the combat is enjoyable for me. The taming and pets are nice even though you get taming points and some animals can't be tamed without the points, and some animals require special drops in your inventory before taming, and you have to buy taming and inventory space. Healers get one weak heal at level five and hopefully get stronger later. I'm playing Kings and Heroes and it's refreshing to play a healer who can actually heal through stuff at early levels. Wizards are gods and can kite and one and two shot stuff in RoI. Sin is fun to play. Guardian is also fun.
I might add this game to my play list as I do enjoy it but will wait until I hear more about PvP and PvE at higher levels.

The priest has a skill called Righteous Authority. I don't remember at what early level you get it but it is within the first 10 levels. If used properly it will cause other skills to heal you to the point you can end a battle with more health than what you started with.
Righteous Authority and Divine Power (level 15?) share similar mechanics. When they are used before other skills they add healing benefits to those skills. If used in order Divine Power and Righteous Authority are supposed to add other benefits. Although I haven't learned what yet. Both of these skills can be used as attacks on mobs with self heals or as direct heals over time when used on other players.
At about level 15 the one specific heal skill, Healing Glow (AOE), increases in usefulness when you can charge it up to heal 30% of any player's health in it's area of effect instead of 10%.
Those combined with remembering to dodge ranged attacks makes for a very viable solo play experience. I've done no group play. But at the group dungeons they are always asking for healers.
Only Righteous Authority and Healing Glow can be used while mounted. No other priest skills can be used mounted. At least at level 18.
Side note: I can't stand that blue dragon. Or at least the players who use it. They always stand on top of quest givers and make it difficult for others to interact with the quest giver.
Most games instead have me thinking,ok should i try it or not,do i really feel like login to play it,am i really going to play this for more than a month and just quit,if not then why bother.
All these games look like 3-6/10,i want a 9/10 !!!.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Thanks for the info. At what levels do these things kick-in?

but lets face it...
what games did we play that really gave us that 9/10. always remeber you can love a game and i do like this one, but whats the use, if you are stuck at a quest that requires a party of 5 to do and complete but you cant becuase the severs are empty and nobody ever plays ha. and thats what killed great games like dragons phrophet ..and vangaurd saga of heroes. why do you think wow.. world of warcraft was so popular cuz there was always sombody on day or night to do quest with, or raids dungeons. pvp most of all and lets not even talk about tera, thats why wow was soooo popular and kinda still is. this game could be great but nexus dude this is your last chance to get it right.
Oh and you didn't even experience the taming quests.. that involved Dive bombing a bear from a cliff.. from above. Challenging content that is just part of leveling! seriously Bill you phoned this preview in and it shows.
YUP - but this is exactly what I expect from this site. If it is not some crap game like BDO (my opinion here), then people hate it.
Some people played only an hour? WOW - I am surprised they just didn't do their review by osmosis.
With that said, Nexon really shot themselves in the foot limiting beta to lvl 25. The game really doesn't start to get good until lvl 30ish. The zones are designed VERY well and the dungeons are a TON of fun. The quests are still meh but I could care less. The story gets more interesting (I'm not a big fan of lore, I like end game content) as time goes on. PvP is lacking because no BGs. Allied wars could be fun if there are enough people..... but lazy reviewers like yourself, and Nexon really not showcasing the game will probably ruin that.
There is a reason this is one of the TOP MMORPGs in Korea right now....
Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.
