got myself a pair of astra a50 wireless headsets and plugged them into the pc . Pc didnt start . unplugged them and tried them on my ps4 . Worked fine .so went back to the pc and heres the problem
if i leave the usb cable to the transmitter unplugged then the computer will start as soon as the fans kick over i can re plug the cable back in and it will work flawlessly .
I am out of ideas now astra and saying blame the pc but everything checked out i wa son the phone to the tech support for 2 hours this afternoon
I also unplugged all my other usb cables to lower the load to see if that was the problem no change , but again as soon as i unplugged the cable it fired up .

Also, have you tried it with them connected to a powered USB hub?
As for the powered hub , i dont have one but might pick a cheap one up tomorrow and try it .
A Web Cam is almost certainly drawing power. The Bluetooth transmitter is absolutely drawing power. The Xbox controller is drawing power, if the transmitter is plugged into the USB device. Some modern keyboards draw a lot of USB power, some even require two USB ports.
Headphones that plug directly into USB, are probably drawing more power than the rest of those. The drivers for cans, especially for low end tones, take a lot of power. My guess is that the motherboard simply can't handle the power requirements to the USB ports. Some motherboards won't even start booting if there's a power issue. These are usually on the cheap end of boards.
