Two years after getting Greenlit, thanks to the intensive full-time work of our team, Gloria Victis finally moved to Steam Early Access. We have waited with launch until now to make sure the game will be polished enough to meet your expectations. However, we know that we can achieve a lot more together, so we encourage the players to discuss the game and its core features, as well as the recent progress and future development plans.

    Good news indeed, and for a game that's made spectacular progress with such a small dev team. I'm still hoping for a combat overhaul/rework eventually though, as the current implementation seems a bit lacking.

    Has more of the world been opened up? IIRC what we were playing on was only one small portion of what was going to be made available.

    Go to their website, login and there you can claim your steam key.

    Isn't this another one of those "survival/PvP/ganking" games? People just running around chaotically killing each other, like H1Z1, DayZ, Rust, etc.?

    excellent news for the developers and those who believed them. I wish i had the money and the time to spend on their project. Hope they will go even better, although the waters of "Early Access" hide many dangers..!

    This is not really an MMORPG is it? i think i saw someone posted that each server only allows 64 players? that suck

    It's not a maximum of 64 players but the servers are actually capped at 300. I had to refund the game on steam as I wasn't able to log in at all. Since purchasing it yesterday I just got stuck at the loading screen which is a known issue they've attempted to patch but hasn't worked yet. I'll revisit the game if they're ever able to get the servers to hold over 300+ population and when the bugs have been worked out a little more and I can actually log in :)

    downloading now. Can't wait. I know it's not in mint condition, so going in with the expectation of issues. Still looking forward to it though.

    yea its still pretty early alpha its come along way tho since it was just a very small piece of land like 2 years ago ^.^

    this game is mediocre at best the steam reviews are misleading. the game looks a decade old, it runs like crap. there are notable server load issues, the hit boxes on enemiesw are really off, when you die and respawn you spend sometimes clode to half a minute falling through the world before you rez in and there are issues with account verification and steam integration. the combat is clumsy to.

    Holy shit really? You can't be serious. The next thing you are going to tell me that it's in early access and bugs are a real thing? Nah. You must be joking. Early Access never have bugs, do they? Wow!

    At least this one keeps pumping updates every couple of weeks.

    I supported them a long while ago and till they keep updating the game, I know they hope to finish it.
