If you could only P2P what game would you be playing now? For me it would probably be Archeage. I don't play it because of its F2P. I am not sure I could sub to many other games that are out right now.

Well, since I like to vote with my wallet on what is to come not just for this genre, but gaming in general, I wouldn't sub to anything new that came over these last 5½ years. That leaves few sub based MMO's available and that are still kicking with strong updates, content and player base.
EVE is dying faster than ever now. Everquest 2 is like dead, after all its company died quicker than the game. DC Universe Online was the last new game I bought January 11th, 2011. Sadly, again SOE is dead and that game been done for a while, as a themepark model.
World of Warcraft is the only MMO I can think that's sub based, and with 2½ months before its latest expansion, mos likely I would sub to it just to prepare my stuff, addons and what not, to warm up and know exactly what to do as well as find a guild. Still, most likely I won't be buying Legion on launch, since I only played 2 months into WoD expansion. I'll wait for the dust to settle to see how much Blizzard is putting efford this time into Legion and if they learned their lesson or not.
ArcheAge was a great game indeed, sadly OP other great games have also been destroyed by those that run them. After all that's how this goes. CCP(EVE), Blizzard(WOW), SOE(SWG). Usually, companies themselves are the biggest threat to the lifespan of their games over everything else.
I was interested in Age of Wushu, but unfortunately when it was released I was spending 6 months out of the year traveling and didn't have time to get into a new game. By the time I was ready to try it, I had heard that it gone full Pay to Win. If it was all access for a month sub fee, then I'd be there giving it a shot.
Mechwarrior Online because I really just want access to all of the mechs in the game for a single monthly fee. As it stands now, I'll be goddamned if I'm going to pay for dozens of mechs and all of the garage slots I would need to buy in order to store them all.
Jeez... a sub game. Uhm... EVE. I've actually been toying with resubbing again of late, so there's nothing to say I might not put my money where my mouth is in short order. But, yeah, that is literally the only game I could see my way through to paying for right now.
Oh, honorable mention for FFXIV. I have no interest in ever renewing, but if PVE-only is your scene, that's the place to be. Frankly, though, I think you can get nearly the same 'white-washed, silicone-injected, yawns-on-full-throttle, all-buttons-set-to-snooze, vanilla-flavored-warp-drive-engaged' experience in GW2.
*Edit* Please don't sub to World of Warcraft. It's a shadow of the product it once was, and any dollars sent Blizzard's way just encourages them to churn out more half-assed content.

It doesn't have to be a sub game. Any MMORPG that's F2P to P2P.

Well that isn't what the instruction manual said to do, sir.
Still be playing the same games i am now, not afraid to pay for my entertainment, and i think honestly, that i get more enjoyment out of the games i do play because i do pay. I don't think its any coincidence at all, that most of the games that i particularly enjoy playing currently on the market are sub based, or a hybrid that has a sub option. BDO, is about the only game that i play that isn't, but even then, its good enough that imo, it would be worth paying a sub for.
Still GW2 but probably more on and off. Summertime I tend to just play a little when it rains too much but I probably wouldn't bother that with P2P, too few hours a month.
Not sure there is anything out at the moment for me.
Whilst F2P made both LotRO and SW:TOR worse games, both games would likely have died without F2P so reversing the payment model isn't wise, plus both cater for a different type of player to me these days (well, sw:tor always catered to a different crowd, they just advertised the game differently).
I guess I'd be more tempted to try some F2P games if they'd been P2P from the start. Neverwinter is one - Gauntlegrym looked interesting as a PvP zone and I'm a fan of the lore. Archearche is another - I don't really like the art style but the game had enough interesting sandbox features to make me think twice about it.

FF14 would be my Sub of choice. If only it had a bigger team behind it to release more content with beefier raids. Given the size of the team though it (Sadly) wipes the floor with Blizzard in terms of the scope of content it provides and the variety of that content. It really leaves me wondering what the game would look like if it had the size of WoW's team.
Now if you are considering F2P games that were P2P... honestly there isn't any really out there to me that stick out. Rift for me was an amazing game that F2P ruined to me, and what they have done lately the game has sunk in quality a lot which is a shame considering Hammerknell would easily be in my top 5 best raids of all time list. Honestly if it stuck P2P I wonder how good it could be right now.
Wildstar maybe could be on the list but honestly the game just lacked the umph and its direction unfortunately dragged the game back which I don't think F2P did anything really at all to hurt it. Warframe could be good P2P taking away the store elements (though I don't think its actually that terrible in the game at least but still) and perhaps helping to create more interesting gameplay with a steady stream of cash helping to promote more types of gameplay. Neverwinter probably would been another good game if it was P2P as well, though its design does feel like it still would of limited it, though at least it wouldn't be nickle and diming.
Neverwinter; it is a fun game and the foundry is a great feature; but PWE have prevented me from ever playing it by being greedy arseholes.
I'd have to agree with this. NWO looked very fun when I tried it when it first came out. But the P2W became so obvious before even level 10. No way I'm going to pay $10 for 1 large bag on one character. Its way to P2W but if it was sub I probably would have subbed if given full content w/o additional cash shop crap.
I've been continuously subscribed to Vendetta Online since 2004.

I'd probably just choose WoW. Almost every MMO has an optional sub now, with few exceptions such as FFXIV. Even WoW and EvE give players options to pay off their subscription by other means.

If i had more time at my disposal i would definitely become an EVE subscriber.

If Darkfall would be up and running correctly, I would definitely sub for it.
