I love Pirate101. I love playing it every chance I can get. Who can't resist being a pirate? So when I tell my friends that they should try it too. They give me a strange look and they often say, "But that's a game for kids, isn't it?"

    got this for my 5 year old , i sit and play it with him .. And gotta tell ya after you play a while get some lvls and a bunch of companions the game has a very good tactical lvl to the land combat that is .. well................. fun ... Kid loves it i enjoy sitting with him ..

    Well now, this is easily the most cringe worthy thing I've read on this site. It reads like a middle school student's first attempt at a persuasive essay.

    pirate101 is something diffrent, does have a special flavour. the humour is hillarious and made me laugh quite often. i return every time a new chapter gets release just to follow the great story. maybe i'm very childish or maybe i'm just old enough to appreciate the different approach in a mmorpg.

    My youngest daughter and I tried it when it first came out, but couldn't get into it. We are big fans of Wizard 101 though and have been playing it since 2009 when she was 6. It's currently the only online game I play. Better than anything currently available.

    Both KingsIsle games has shifted the difficulty up a bit over the years to get more adults to play since they tend to be the big spenders in the game. Ranked PVP has become a big thing in Wizard 101 and Pirates as well I believe and it's not free. One could easily drop 100+ a month in either of those games.

    It's great for family play.

    I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

    I love playing Pirate 101. I did start playing with my kids and quickly found myself playing for hours after they went to bed. Now my son has a separate account so we can play the game together. So my point would be Pirate 101 is fun for every age.

    of course is not just a kids' game because you have to pay for it. But anyway is an addicting game and i can't stop playing it
