Battlestate Games the developers of the hardcore online game Escape from Tarkov are finishing up work on “The Customs” - a large location that will be available to players during the Alpha testing stage. The developers have shared some detailed descriptions of the new game location, accompanied by fresh screenshots. “The Customs” is comprised of ten key points, every one of them being of certain interest either in terms of story or resource-wise.

    SO I noticed on their store page it was a b2p game, with a AAA title price. Then as I scrolled down at the absurdly expensive other editions I noticed a line saying "Increased stash space 10x30".

    It was at that point I realized these fucking clowns were going to charge full price to play their amateur game and then charge me to have full access to the games features via some bullshit cash shop item.

    At that point it was deleted from my watch list. Never trust a company that makes you pay for full access to game features despite you already paying full price for the game itself.

    Cosmetics sure, but any mechanics, features or gameplay should not be restricted if I am paying 50+$ for your title. That is some dirty dirty business practices.

    Yep, it is a milk your pocketbook through the store game.  Pretty common these days.

    "You found a sniper rifle. To enjoy an extended gaming experience by taking out your enemies from afar you can buy the Marksman bundle which include the sniper license plus the basic Sniper Rifle and 2 full magazines for use."

    I can actually see this happening soon.

    Everything you get with the preoders are obtainable by playing so i dont know whats the fuss about. Haters gonna hate i guess.
