The Iranian government has made a ruling that Pokemon Go will be banned in its country. Iran's High Council Of Virtual Spaces cited security concerns about how much data Niantic can access about players through the game's servers.

    I think game companies should not release their games in middle east and part of africa that identifies close to middle east and also ip block them.

    I think gaming companies should issue statements in countries like this, before releasing their games with the following message : Fuck off !

    ..and I believe that Niantic even translated the game in their language , marketing it, etc ! Oh well! My above message stand still for countries which such .. strict .. erm , stupid ways to handle such things!

    One would think there would be worse problems in a country then a silly game... Particularly when the game have no political agenda and isn't particularly violent. As usual do a lot of religious and political leaders need to get a life.

    The female poke-ladies weren't wearing hijabs. The Iranians first attempted to stone the smart phones to death for their insolence, then bury them to their microphone covers in the desert sand, but when both failed to force the corrupt eastern electronic animals to don the proper amount of black attire, the entire game was banished.

    Ah yes, a country run by the enlightened 'religion of peace' that is Islam is once again striking a blow against the freedom of its citizens to think for themselves.

    Honestly, I think they just saw a U.N. inspector get too close to one of their nuclear weapons facilities while playing the game, and panicked.

    they asked money from the developers and they said no to them, it is all about corruption they use religious ruling as excuse, give them money and no more problem.
