oh sure, well I've been playing pc games since 1993, my first mmo was DAOC, which I loved. I played alittle of blade and soul and enjoyed it but the content was coming out too fast. I've played about every major mmo out there that I know of. I enjoy all types of video games, however I really like playing with a group and being apart of a very friendly guild
I read about BDO and did not like how they did the cash shop, I'm not sure if they fixed it but I don't want to support a company like that. I'll read up on Riders of Icarus.

Since you liked DAoC you may like what Albion Online has to offer. Camelot Unchained as well (Since you like DAoC)
O.o I don't think Albion Online has much in common with DAoC at all... one is an old school isometric sandbox MMO with full looting and open world PvP... while DAoC was all about RvR, not mindlessly ganking and looting your own faction.
I don't think Albion even has RvR, does it? Unless counting the territory control thingy. Now if he had said that he liked old school UO before Trammel/Felucca, then I'd say hell yeah, go for Albion.
Also, what didn't you like about BDO's cash shop @darnapkin?

I do not mean Albion is like DAoC I just mean if he likes PvP he may like Albion. The PvP is a core to the game. Territory controlled PvP does not mean it is just a mindless gang fest.
Ah, I see. Thanks. xD

I am not sure what you read about the cash shop, but the Western version of BDO is possibly one of the least p2w games out at the moment.
My favorite group based pvp game is ESO atm (has pretty good
pve as well) so could be worth considering. The developers are quite active and
the game has really changed/improved since launch imo.
One thing that really kills BDO for me is the annoying graphics pop in. It's severely distracting. IMO they should have went with less detail and less things to just pop in.

Thanks for the laugh, it was hearty.

But sure, BDO, Overwatch or Witcher 3 are all good too.

Basically, what was worth playing 6 months is still worth playing, what wasn't then still suck.

SWTOR is also doing well, both financially and in terms of future content. I'd recommend that if you enjoy the traditional WoW experience.
GW2 is my personal favourite. If you played it in the past and enjoyed it, the expansion is worth giving a try.
